Super comfy but super prone to pilling.
I have one of these sweaters and it is really comfortable and the fit is very flattering. I love the new colors added to the line-up and would love to get another one, but I won't because of the terrible pilling, sadly. Unfortunately, the pills occur really quickly.........even after the first one or two wearings. I use my little de-fuzzing device constantly. (I'm not willing to do this with another one, no matter how gorgeous the colors.) FYI, the Bean Birchwood Waffle sweaters do not pill like these. I have one of those in the zip-up style and love it. It is not quite as soft, however. Wish they could combine the features of the two sweaters!!! Overall, I love LLBean. ❤️

Fabric Pills
I'm disappointed in this sweater because of the fabric. I bought a couple of LL Bean crew neck waffle knit sweaters a while ago and just love them. They have been washed numerous times and the fabric looks like new. I bought this turtleneck waffle knit thinking the fabric was the same, but it's pilling after the 1st wash. Very disappointing.

This is a nice sweater in the beginning . It is heavy and pills quickly. doesn't stay looking nice for long. I received this for a Christmas gift.

Beautiful sweater
Beautiful sweater. So soft! Only issue is a very tight neck, but with pulling, I've been able to loosen it up a bit. Still love it.
