Cute, and nearly perfect
I love these boots! The only thing that is less than perfect is that they are not quite as warm as my other Bean boots when it is really cold outside. But in every other way, they are great. I am tall and slender with slender, athletic legs, and it's hard to find calf-height boots that fit well. These do! Because they have laces, they fit my legs and calves well, but they would expand easily to fit much thicker calves with no problem. And the lining is nice and warm too! I ordered my usual size 10 and the fit is perfect with medium thick socks.

Not warm at all amd no felt lining
These boots are pretty to wear but tje feet are cold. I tried them in 26 degree weather and not warm at all. My toes were frozen.

Super Warm!
Love my new boots! Super warm and comfortable! Easy to put on and the loops on the front and back help with this. I am happy with the tread as well. I think these will be great for the cold northern Vermont winters!

Disappointing.
Too tight around calf and too wide in ankle. Returned. Would have loved these to fit. Another example of lack of size inclusion and poor quality lately.

Overall good boots but could be warmer
I like these boots, especially the color but they aren’t as warm as I would’ve liked. They are a little slick on the sole, so I’ve been somewhat cautious with that. They seem to be a little better now that they’ve been broken in a bit. They are comfortable to walk in, but just would like a little more warmth.

Exceeded expectations
I rarely ever post ratings, but I just got back from a winter week in Yellowstone and felt compelled to share: I am SO happy with these boots!! Coupled with wool socks, I stayed dry and warm. They run a bit small, so I went up one size and it worked well.

Nice and high on the calf
I’ve had these for a while in hopes of getting tons of snow, I finally will have that opportunity as we will finally get decent amounts of snow. Shovelling the driveway was the reason I got these, and dog walking in the snow!

Runs large, not very warm
I wear a 8 (shoe and boots), so purchased an 8. They were huge- I could have sized down a whole size. However, they didn’t feel very warm and cozy inside, so I sent them back. Probably fine for 30’s, but I’m looking for something to keep me toasty in the single digits and snow.

Uncomfortable
I received a pair of these lovely looking black winter boots, but the LLbean quality that we all have come to expect is just not there with these boots. They dig into my foot/leg like there is a stiff piece of material sticking out. I had a pair of these several years ago in a light colour and I loved them. I guess I lovingly wore them out because my feet started to become wet and cold in them after 3 winters of regular use. They were made perfectly. But not the new model.

Love them
I bought these for myself to have when I’m out playing with my grand children and husband. I wear a size 7.5 and hemmed over what size to order and I am glad that I followed my gut instinct and got a size 8. I can wear these with a mid weight sock or I can wear a boot sock with these comfortably. I got them in black and I LOVE them.

I love this boot, however the right shin part has a fold in it that is digging into my shin
Is there anything I can do to undo this (wet it or shall I exchange for another?) I bought it

Top portion digs into my leg
I want to love this pair of boots but top 4 inches of the tongue piece curls in a way that it digs into my legs. If that was fixed these would be the perfect deep snow boot.
