Shearling Boots
The boots look nice. But, when you try them on the tongue is also lined in Shearling so it does not lay flat, it buckles! The laces are too short. There is only about 1 inch to tie them! They did not do enough research and development on this boot! So the boot is uncomfortable. Now they have changed the soles on boots. Which is a big mistake, as they are not comfortable and substantial. The zipper is not of any use. Please go and offer all of your shoes and boot in Half Sizes. As it was very challenging to try and figure out what size to buy. I had to buy a size 7, when I really take a size 8! Now, the price of these boots are $349.99 which is very expensive. Please go back and put the original soles back on the boots! Also put 1/2 sizes in everything.

Very Disappointed
Received my boots yesterday and I must say very disappointed. After speaking to a sales person about the size I need she said to order a size 7 I normally wear a 8.5 so I ordered the 7 I couldn’t get my foot in the boots unless the laces were opened. So what’s the point of having a side zipper. They went back immediately.

Not Obvious How These are Expected to Work
Very poor fit. I am 5'3" and 115 pounds and I could not zip the boot all the way up because it is so narrow in the ankle. Returned.

L.L. Bean Women's Bean Boot,10" Shearling Lined Insulated Side Zip.
My Husband gave the boots as a gift, because I already have an uninsulated pair of 10" Bean Boots he thought they would be good for messy cold weather. The shoe part fit really well , but when laced I am unable to get them on even if the laces are loosened they won't zip. I am a very thin person with thin legs and ankles....I am not sure who could wear them. I am returning them.

Love these boots
I like the zipper, I like the heft of the leather and the they are very warm. I live in the Adirondacks and these boots are always with me… they are a life line up here!
