Super Comfy / Warning when washing
Love these PJ's. Super soft, warm enough for the cooler months, but not too warm for warmer nights. I was disappointed after the first wash, they shrank about a full size on the length of the pants and shirt. Need a warning on the label not to wash in hot water and dry on delicate! However I would recommend buying only with a warning ⚠️ on the wash. I'll probably buy another set.🤷🏾♂️ They are THAT comfortable.

A few quirks
When new these were about a size too large in sleeves and legs. After a hot wash and dry they shrunk a lot. Now they're a little small but I'm keeping them because the fabric is very nice.
The buttons are VERY small and difficult to manage if you have arthritic hands; my wife is going to replace them with normal size buttons.

Shrunk in washer & dryer
The material is an unusual cotton knit which shrunk to almost the next smaller size; it also produced an amazing amount of lint when dried according to the label directions, so we returned it.

deceptively described as minimal shrinkage
These pj's are well-made knit described as all cotton ( 20% recycled) and subject to "minimal shrinkage" according to my inquiry before purchase. On arrival, fabric is heavy, almost-flannel-like to touch while lengths of arm and leg are each 3" too long!!. When I asked again re shrinkage, product specialist said 8%!!!
I am returning these unworn and ask LL Bean to provide more accurate and compete description of products whether online, by phone, or in written catalogs.
This is unacceptable marketing to us as clients of nearly 60 years!

Feels good!
These are among my most comfortable items of clothing but “cotton” in the description implies summer but it feels almost like flannel in texture. I have worn in August and did not feel warm so perhaps they are “summer” after all. Maybe I’ll review again in December.

Poor quality
These Pj's are comfortable and just what i was looking for for my husband, but unfortunately, one pair already has a hole. It seems that the seam came apart in 2 places. We chose LL Bean for its quality. Unfortunately these fall short.

Pants too long
The pajamas were a medium but the pants were 2" too long, and I had to get them altered. This company has reimbursed the alteration, but it is an inconvenience for such an expensive purchase.

I'm wearing them as I type. Soft, warm, and just plain wonderful to the touch. If you plan to dry them in a warm clothes drier, consider getting one size larger, as they will shrink a bit (all cotton).

Do not buy. Shrinks after first use, unwearable :(
First wear out of package and sleeves and pants longer than expected for a size large. Sleeves about 2 inches too long over hand and pants the same. I wear a large normally and am of normal build and height. Felt more like a XL but not the biggest concern since pjs to begin with.
A few things - the care tags are incredibly uncomfortable and are a constant irritation. More importantly, after 1 wash as directed on the care tag , they shrunk at least 2 sizes and puckered at every button on the shirt . Completely unwearable. Considering the $100 price tag it is a big swing and a miss for llbean which I’ve never had a problem with their clothes or gear in the past. I would strongly recommend avoiding this product until they can fix the quality issues.

Too warm in flannel; great otherwise.
No problem with the quality. Wanted a cotton, old-fashioned style. This was fine in style, but too heavy as a flannel pajama. Not clear in description if a regular cotton or a cotton flannel.
