Warm but sheds!
Bought this two weeks ago. After 3 wears, the feathers are coming out like crazy on my son’s all black outfit. I’m very disappointed… no wonder it’s on sale now. My son is 6 and 4’ tall. He’s lean. I bought a size small (8). Fits well with a bit of room to grow into. We walk two blocks to school in chicago.

Look No More-This coat is Perfect!
This coat fits perfectly. I ordered it a size larger because my grandson wears a lot of turtlenecks and pull- over sweaters so he would feel comfortable. He loves this coat. It’s everything I expected.

Super warm!
My daughter loves her jacket, very warm. It is nice and long for her too so keeps her legs toasty. The length really warrants a double zipper which this coat doesn’t feature. I’ve been talking coats with some friends as I was in the market for a new one and it sounds like LLBean isn’t putting double zippers on many of their long coats. This is an essential feature in my opinion so not sure why they wouldn’t include in the design. She had a similar coat from Bean’s a few years back and it had a double zipper. We thought about returning it but it was a gift so she didn’t want to offend her grandma. We might see if a friend can add a double zipper.
