Not good for hot drinks
The mug fails to retain heat effectively, and the lid pops up when covering a hot drink.

I second drilling the vent hole in lid to 1/8" to break the vacuum. It results in better flow

Thankful for a handle
Nice size mug, handle accommodates my big hands, ice lasts several hours. I had to have a 1/8" vent hole drilled through the tiny hole in the bottom of the lid. This made all the difference in the world, good flow and easy off and on of the lid. One draw back with these is replacement lids are not sold by LL Bean. Just hope they hold up for a very long time. Definitely my go-to water container.

Love Bean's insulated Mug
Have been using Bean's older model mug for several years and they are great. This one is new style with improvements. This new mug fits better into the car holder. I even think the insulation is a bit better. I sort of prefer the previous lid, but this one possibly better for drinking with lid on

My son loves this cup I leave it on the drain board so that its always available when he is with me it fits his fingers and it keeps the liquid at the right temperature to the last drop

Good mug
I like this mug. I like the color and the LL Bean logo. I'd love it if it fit in my car cup holder. As it is, I enjoy using it around the house.
