Perfect gift
This is the second mug I've bought for my dad bc he loved the first one so much. They last the forever, but hand wash it bc the paint comes off after many automatic dishwashing.

I second drilling the vent hole in lid to 1/8" to break the vacuum. It results in better flow

Thankful for a handle
Nice size mug, handle accommodates my big hands, ice lasts several hours. I had to have a 1/8" vent hole drilled through the tiny hole in the bottom of the lid. This made all the difference in the world, good flow and easy off and on of the lid. One draw back with these is replacement lids are not sold by LL Bean. Just hope they hold up for a very long time. Definitely my go-to water container.
