Great Hikers

Exactly what I was looking for!
So I have had these boots for over a month now. We planned a trip to Central Europe for the holidays. I knew I needed something that would be good in cold weather, handle wet conditions and be able to navigate cobblestone streets and hills. As we were also packing light, only taking one pair of shoes, I wanted something that was practical but able to be dressed up if needed. I tried on probably close to 15 different pairs of other boots at various stores that I thought would work but none gave me what I was looking for. We fortunately have a LLBean store close to us so went there so that I could try on some more boots for our trip. I think I pulled 6 other styles that I thought would work but when trying them on they had some issues. I wear a narrow. It is almost impossible to find any boot in a narrow width but some medium widths work if they are lace up. I also did not want a boot that went too high up my ankle but gave me some support for all the walking we would be doing. This pair was the last pair I tried on and immediately I realized that I had found what I had been looking for. They are just stylish enough to wear to be smart casual if need be. The lace up allowed me to tailor the width for my narrow feet but also for wearing thicker socks. They were comfortable and the ankle went just high enough for support. The water proof got put to the test before we left, when helping to turn a large water trough over to clean, the water swamped both of my feet. After about 5 min the boots looked like nothing had even touched them and my socks were dry. These boots got the miles put on them on our trip. With some days doing well over 16,000 steps with multiple flights of stairs. And like I said they dressed up nice casual with a pair of jeans. Yet another plus with these, I am 5’3” but have a bigger foot. I had to get a size 9. A lot of the times a size 9 on me especially in boots looks like my feet are massive or they are heavy. Not this pair. It looked like I had a normal pair of shoes on. And they are very light weight. If I could give these boots more stars I would. A++ LLBean on this boot style!

Great Quality!
Love these boots! I did buy new insoles for these boots but they are very comfortable for walking, and they do well in the snow, too! I recently returned from a trip where I walked 10 miles 3 days in a row and my feet never hurt! I highly recommend!

Nice boots
These boots are just what I’ve been looking for. I have a somewhat narrow foot and heel, most other brand boots are more geared for a wide foot but these fit me just fine. I’ve been wearing them for over a month now on my dog walks and they still look and feel great. The traction is great too on pavement or trail hikes. They're also very comfortable which is a plus for me as I have foot issues, I do have to use a heel cup insert but I do that for all my shoes now.

Great hiking shoe
Quality shoe, looks terrific. Finally, a hiking shoe with a wide toe box and a narrow heel. The only thing I would change is a little more padding. I’m 65 and have PF and neuropathy so more padding with a little rigidity would be perfect. I do, however, recommend this shoe.

GREAT hiking boots!!
I broke my foot several years ago so it’s important I wear comfortable shoes. If they are too narrow or have a hard sole, one of my toes will go numb. I tried on many many hiking boots and none of them were comfortable until I found these. The reviews said they were comfortable right out of the box and had a wide toe bed and they were right! The regular width has nice room. I wore them for the first time all day today shopping and my feet never got sore and my toe never went numb. The color is exactly what the picture shows and it is a great looking boot. They are comfortable enough to wear as a shoe. I feel like I got two for one. So happy with these!!!! I normally wear a 9wide but the 9 regular was perfect.

Womens Trail Duster Hiker boots - highly recommend
Very comfortable boots, no break in period needed. Because of the wide toe base, I was able to order 9.5 medium. Ordering a wide was not necessary with these boots. Would highly recommend!

Great Hiking Boots
I bought these for hiking in the mountains in N. California. These were a lighter weight than I normally wear, but felt just as sturdy. I felt safe in climbing large boulders in a river and had no slips at all. They were also comfortable right out of the box and needed no breaking in. I would definitely recommend. Nice supportive boot!
I ordered a 7M. With room in the toe area the boot has a nice snug comfortable fit which I find very supportive, especially for my ankles. I like these very much and use them for walking the bike path. I like how the heel rolls my foot along. I'm sure they would be great for hiking as well. Love the color too.

Good for casual walking
I needed a sturdy pair of shoes for hour-long daily walks; I recently wore through a pair of competitor-brand day hikers purchased in 2021. I walk quickly, over rough and sometimes wet ground, but I am not carrying a backpack - these seem like they will work. Haven't yet had a chance to test how waterproof they are (they do have the word "waterproof" printed on them). Ankle support is average, but the bigger issue is that the foot bed feels a little thin; I may need to look for an insole. The outer sole does seem to be grippy.

Great hiking boots! True to its size. Solid yet light. Went hiking for several days in the Arches Natl Park. The rocks, sand, ups and downs - the grip made me feel very safe and secure. Very happy with the purchase. (did not test in the water environment to confirm that it's waterproof)

Love them!
These boots feel great on my feet right out of the box. Seems to have room in the toe box with is a huge plus hate my feet feeling squished. They are super cute too. Now I originally ordered a 7.5 my usual size and a 8 because of reviews saying size up. Neither size fit! Didn’t even take 7.5 out of box they looked so small. Returned both pairs and ordered 8.5 fits great. Size up in my opinion at least a half size.

Very comfortable right out of the box, but I had to order the next size up to wear med weight hiking socks. Did not give 4 stars because I have not had a chance to do some serious trails with them so don't know how they will hold up. Sure wish they had top hooks for lacing. Very nice looking.
