Almost Perfect
I have been looking SO long for 100% cotton (no stretch), button fly flat front chinos and it turned out LL Bean has them! They are 97% perfect. If only the fly was a lititle bit longer (one extra button). The pockets one inch deeper, and there was also a button on the left back pocket, we would be seeing perfection. Guess that’s a dream 🙏

Yes--Button Fly!
I was SHOCKED to find a pair of 100% unadulterated cotton ANYTHING from Bean. I was alerted to these pants via a "sale" email. An item on "sale" often is a clearance item that is about to be discontinued. I bought a couple pairs since I was concerned they'd disappear forever similar to other Bean favorites of mine (tropic weight pants, short inseam cargo pants etc., but I digress!).
It's unfortunate that Bean has jumped the shark with stretch fabrics and wrinkle free fabrics (can you (possibly) say forever chemicals?) and hence my excitement when I found these pants. The Signature Camp Chino (thus far) seem like they could become a favorite pair once they have aged a bit. I do have one negative to report: As noted in the description, these pants have a button fly. Who thought this was a good idea? Maybe after MORE practice it will take less than a concerted effort/MINUTE to button the fly but as of now, I have to THINK while attempting the buttoning. Not a quick "zip" at all, as each button-hole is segregated by stitching leaving little room to negotiate the button through the hole...and once having done so making sure the button is SECURE.
I see a future LOVE/HATE relationship with these pants as they seem like they will age into a nice feeling 100% COTTON pant, but the button fly....

Top Quality, Excellent Fit
LL Bean's Signature line tends to have slightly better quality and these pants are no exception. They remind me of the clothes I purchased from LL Bean in the 1980s. The fabric is top quality sturdy cotton. Well constructed. The fit is a bit looser but not baggy, a very good look. I hope LL Bean will offer more clothing options in the Signature line.

Perfect! Cotton!
Wanted cotton cargo pants to replace favorites that had backed into car grease at a shop. Nothing removed the huge stain. We looked everywhere and LLBEAN had these. Worth the price.

Not impressed.
Pants are too wrinkled out of the wash and dryer. I need to iron them each time. They are not soft, but will be worn after ironing.
