Love vest. Don't like logo on front.
My only complaint is I really don't like the L.L. Bean emblem emblazoned on the front. I'm conservative about those things, and I think it's tacky. Otherwise, the vest is great. It's warm, it seems to be high-quality, zippers function well, and the color is just like it's shown on the webpage.

Fabric doesn’t hold up in the wash
My dad loves his vest. He says it keeps him warm. The reason for the 3 stars is because the fabric tore in 3 places when I washed it according to the directions. I ordered him a replacement without telling him and now it needs to be washed. I think I’ll hand wash this one.

Kudos for a great vest!
This is a wonderful vest far improved over the similar vest I bought and returned to LE. Your design is wonderful! The seams and zippper are properly sewn. The inside fleece is warm, the higher neck is most comfortable and the down lining is perfect for Northcounty temperatures! Kudos to your ongoing quality of winter quality lines! My only suggestion would be to have a two way zipper from the bottom as well but it is not essential for most situations just in the car.
I highly recommend this top shelf quality vest to all!

Boxy fit
I purchased this vest for my husband in the Tall L and XL. He is 6’4”and athletic build. The vests fit well length-wise but both sizes were too boxy even with a bulky hooded sweatshirt underneath. The vest itself was very nice and appeared to match the quality we expect from LLB, but unfortunately both were returned. This may not be the best fit for a tall, lean frame.

Men’s Down Vest
The vest is very warm and comfortable . What I do not like is the lining - it is a fleece type material and grabs whatever you are wearing under it . In winter you are usually wearing a flannel shirt and getting it on is not the easiest .

Better than expected!
I’m very pleased with the vest, looks great and fits well. The fleece portion inside the upper back and neck area are extremely comfortable. An upper or inside pocket would be a nice addition, but everything else about this vest makes me look past that fact.
