I bought these as a gift for my partner. Long johns are a huge staple of his winter wardrobe and he loves these. I’m going to have to buy more, because he never wants to take them off. Surprisingly, for the warmth they provide, they aren’t bulky at all. We appreciate that LLBean has so many options in tall, since tall sizes aren’t the easiest to find.

Nice mid-weight thermal pants
I really enjoyed having these on during our last resort trip. Weather was in the 20s and windy. My legs were warm inside these covered by a very light pair of ski pants. I am happy with this purchase and would recommend.

These pants are high quality and very warm. The lack of tight fitting bands around the ankles keep them from 5 stars however.
