Not water proof
They are comfortable but not insulated. Ok for snow, not good for rain or melting snow. You need to ad spikes for slippery icy surfaces

Can't get my foot in!
This is the correct size boot, but it is so hard to get my feet inside them with socks on.
With cold rainy weather I definitely want to wear socks, but then the feet don't slide in!
I don't want to fight with my boots, so I am returning them.

Laces are a pain.

Winter Essential
Have only had these for a short time. So Far I am pleased. They are light weight, but have a decent sole. I live in snow country so need some boots for running errands and getting ing between the buildings on our place. These seem to fit the bill. They are not the easiest to get on, but at least they can be laced loosely so they go on over thin wool socks. Would help if they had a bigger loop for grabbing while pulling them on. I wear a size 7. These were true to size.

Love these boots!
I send text messages to my husband about how much I love these boots! If I'm out in the cold snow or ice rink and I realize how warm and cozy my feet are (very unusual before these boots), I find myself sending messages to my husband that "I love my boots!"
They are light weight and feel like sneakers. I have even run in them a couple of times while walking the dog. Despite how light they are, they are amazing at keeping my feet warm and dry. Love them!

Très confortable
J'ai reçu mes bottes hier et lors de l'ouverture de la l'emballage j'étais très satisfaite la couleur bleue est encore plus jolie que sur l'image et pas de surprise j'ai commandé des 8 1/2 ce qui est ma grandeur s'était parfait , la botte est si légère c'est l'idéal pour la marche, la finition intérieure est bleue pâle ce qui s'agence parfaitement avec l'extérieur .
Le seul point négatif est lorsqu'on insérer le pied dans la botte cela prend une langue de chat c'est difficile même en délassant les cordons. Malgré tout c'est un excellent choix aucun regret .Je suis vraiment contente et LL.Bean inclus une fiche de retour s'il y a un problème grandeur ou autre avec l'achat ce qui est rare pour les achats en ligne ❤

Good for low arch flexible feet
It’s true that the laces are really hard to adjust. The laces just don’t seem to have enough room to allow them to slide easily. I have low arched flexible feet, so it isn’t a deal breaker for me, my husband could never manage the laces with the shape of his foot. I gave it a 4 star rating because these boots are very comfortable for me- good cushioning, ample room in the toe box for my Morton’s neuroma feet. I’d buy them again, only because of my foot morphology- not for everyone.
