Great grab and go to walk the dog.
I really love this shacket. It is a great grab and go to walk the dog. Inside is sherpa, cozy and comfortable. My only suggestion would be for snaps rather then buttons.

Warm and cuddly!

I’m wearing this right now!
I bought the blue plaid. In the pictures it looks like it’s blue and white but the white is actually a light pink. I got the medium and it fits great. I’m wearing a tank top, long sleeve tshirt and a fleece sweatshirt underneath my jacket. It’s roomy and warm. I love the big side pockets. I’m 5’6”, about 125 lbs with an athletic build.

Thick and warm shacket!
I wear this as both an shirt and a jacket. The fleece inside is super heavy and warm. The arms are quilted and keep my arms warm on a walk. It’s bulky, but this is just what I was looking for inside and outside the house on a cold winter, Colorado day.

First time I’ve had to give L.L. Bean a three
The body of the shirt is fine and sherpa lined. Why did it not line the sleeves with Sherpa? The inside sleeve material is rather itchy. Also, I almost got blisters on my fingers, trying to take the buttons out of the tiny holes. First time I had to give LLB a three and not a five

Chamois shirt jacket
Recently purchased "Ocean Blue" on sale. Lovely color. Another review said the white in the plaid was actually pink. I've noticed indoors with lamp light, it is looks a very pale pink, outdoors it is white. Don't think I would've noticed if I hadn't read that review. It's very ssft, warm & comfortable. Sherpa lining in the sleeves would feel very warm, but would also absolutely be difficult to pull on. The buttons are difficult to use. Can't wait to wear indoors as Arctic front moves in this weekend!

Deep pockets!
I have bought hundreds of items for the last 30
years and I can't believe this-this is the best COAT!Heavu lining..shearling like ..great blue color. Fits over the bottom-but the pockets are the star. Deep for keys and phone. It's been a long time since felt this passionate about a clothing item from LL Bean.

Great outdoorsy jacket
I love everything about this jacket but the buttons. It’s huge, so I can fit two or three layers under it (I live up north). Super cozy and warm. With a down jacket under it, it’s as warm as a coat. It’s my camping/hiking jacket since it’s not a flattering cut. It’s just a big warm cloth box. The buttons are a nightmare, I’ve been wearing it for months and it’s still hard to get them into the holes. Otherwise, it’s fantastic.

Mismatched seams.

I got this shacket a couple of years ago in burgundy. It’s very warm and suits my needs well. I love the big pockets! However, I hate the tiny little buttons! They are impossible to fasten when you have gloves on. I have lost weight, and want a smaller size, but the tiny buttons are still there. Maybe next year this shacket will be improved. I am currently looking for a seamstress that can add a sturdy zipper to the front of my current coat.

Great fit but coloring is questionable
I purchased the Ocean Blue Plaid in a regular large. Once received, I noticed that the "white" areas on the plaid are actually a faint pink as if the shacket was washed with a red garment. I'm debating if I should keep it based on that fact alone (I don't like looking sloppy and I feel it makes me look like I have no clue how to separate laundry). Other than that, the shacket fits perfectly and my opinion is that it is TTS. I wore this with a sweatshirt underneath and there is no tightness in the arms or chest and the length covers my rear end nicely. It does have some bulk and weight to it but that's due to the sherpa lining. Aside from the weird coloring, this jacket is a winner.

Really nice, runs true to size. I bought it a little too big as I was worried it might be tight-fitting with a sweater, but no, medium would have been perfect after all. But I can live with it. If you like a fitted look do not size up.

I love this jacket! The plaid is darker than it appears in the photo, which made me love it all the more. Lots of room in the upper arm, sleaves long enough that they stay at your wrist when bending your arms, adjustable cuffs, soft fabric, plush lining, deep pockets. Will look awesome with a long sleeve turtle neck.

Bought this to replace an inexpensive wool blend jacket. The thick fleece is warmer than I anticipated, which is good because I was worried it wouldn’t be warm enough for temps around freezing. Buttons are easy to use despite the fleece.

Dig Those Deep Pockets!
Fell in love with all the deep pockets on this warm Sherpa-lined shirt/jacket. Fits great, looks great too. Only complaint is the noisy sleeve lining material, couldn't sew a little Sherpa in them rather than the paper-bag-crunchy-what-the-heck-is-that stuff? But I still love it! Highly recommend.
