Our most lightly insulated winter boot, built for all-weather protection and exceptional comfort all day long.
We used an industry-first 60 grams of PrimaLoft® insulation - not too hot, but just warm enough for comfort indoors and out. They'll keep your feet warm outside when the temperatures drop, but they'll also stay comfortable when you head back in.

My Go-To Winter Boot
After much searching various styles and brands from many stores, I am very happy with this boot find from LLBean. My size ranges from 7.5-8 and I was surprised by the 7.5 roominess. It is a roomy front construction so I can wear wool lightweight socks if I want more insulation. Good construction. Good in wet slushy conditions. Very pleased with its bit of fashion look. Nice and warm. Overall comfort level very good for all day wear (especially pleased because I have toe and upper foot pad issues). I've had for about 3 weeks and worn many times. I have added a light gel inner sole for a softer footbed, but most wearers wouldn't need to do this. I will get a lot of use with this purchase for the winter since I live in Ohio.

Sporty but cute
These can go from outdoors to the office. Definitely size down. I am consistently a 9 1/2 and I had to reorder in size 9.

Rubbed the wrong foot
The right boot hurt my foot. The longer I wore them the more they rubbed around my ankle.

Stylish and functional
I love these boots. They are so comfortable for long walks with the dogs. They keep my feet warm on cold days and have great traction on slippery sidewalks. I also love the color. They look good with jeans and winter leggings

Comfortable and cozy!
I ordered a 9.5 based on a similar boot I have from llbean years ago. I definitely could have gone with a 9 and it still would have worked. I typically wear a 9.5 wide and the 9.5 fits great with a thicker sock! I can wear a thinner sock but I need to tighten all the laces a lot more, still fine but I ordered the larger size thinking my wider foot would benefit, I would say it was the correct decision. Love these boots taking them with me to London in January! They seems comfy and warm, excited to try them in Europe weather!
