Trust me, this is the worst article of clothing I have ever worn in my entire life. The fabric feels like I was in Iraq all over again. It looks like a wove a sweater out of straight barf. It fits so badly I might as well just wear a trash bag. I walked outside my apartment and immediately got put in my place by half the block.

Cozy, Comfy and Cute
I was surprised this had such a nice fit. I bought the “reindeer” version and love the look. I bought this early in the Fall and couldn’t wait for the first really cold day to try this out. It did not disappoint. It was warm but comfortable and looked great.

Nice warm sweater for the winter
I ordered a size larger than usual because I planned to wear it over other layers. I should have gone with the usual because the sweater is generously sized. The deer pattern fairisle sweater is well made and will be nice and warm. I love the colors, nice for all winter, not just the holidays.

Uncomfortable
I ordered a medium that was big and boxy. Exchanged for a small which was a better fit but it felt like their were wads of fabric bunched under the armpits. To uncomfortable to wear.

Love!!
I absolutely love this sweater! It is beautiful and VERY warm! I am petite and always have trouble with sleeve length and shoulders and it is perfect. It does have slight bulk at the armpits but that is ok because this is a sweater for being outside, camping, etc for my uses.

Beautiful, but thick and stiff
I loved the design so much I ignored the comments that said it was too thick under the arms. First, I have a difficulty with good fits with LLB tops because they are either too tight or too big. There is never a perfect because I have breasts. I wish this were not so, but sadly it is, I followed the measurements, but it was huge, boxy and so very heavy I had to send it back. I hope they bring this design back in a lighter fabric because it’s perfection!

Love those reindeer!
Reindeer sweaters are a longtime favorite of mine, and this is one of the best ever! The design and color combination (my choice was the natural version) are fantastic. Unlike some reindeer sweaters, this is not for holidays only and can be worn in any cool-weather month. This sweater also has all the quality features we would expect of LL Bean. It's also true to size. I love it!

Lumpy in armpits
I tried this on in their flagship story yesterday, but no matter what size I tried on, the armpits were so lumpy it was just not comfortable. Such a shame, because it really is a cute sweater.

Incredibly Soft Wool!
I find this sweater to be soft and not itchy at all! I love wool sweaters, and I do not wear any undershirt. High quality thick wool and I will be purchasing every new one that comes out! I love the cute vintage prints the best and hope they do more! The sweater is more than roomy, and next time I will size down.

Love wearing this on cold days.
I have had my eye on this sweater for a long time. I talked my husband into buying this for my birthday when it was on sale. It is warm without being too hot. It runs true to size. I have some dark green pants that it looks good with. I thought it had black in it but it is a dark brown, FYI. I have dogs so this design was of interest to me.

Amazing vintage look
I just got this in the mail and I was so excited when I put it on, I had to write a review. I was worried about sizing so I sized up and I’m so glad I did! It fits perfectly. Good quality and tradition.
This sweater is an L.L.Bean classic.. This is my second one.. my first one I bought several years ago.. but in the process of our move in June a box of my sweaters were lost :(.
