Nice sweater for shoulder seasons!
I love the color and cable pattern of this sweater. The fit was slightly generous until it was washed and now is perfect (but not loose). I removed one star because I was surprised at the "breathability"--the somewhat loose knit means it is not as warm as some sweaters despite being substantial. But it is great for cool but not cold days!

Warm, beautiful color
A classic cable style that is soft, sturdy, warm, and a gorgeous color (toffee heather). I got it a little larger than normal for a looser fit but fit is as expected. This will get a lot of use.

Size shrunk from prior years
I have multiple sweaters like this I have bought in the past. The sizing is much smaller so I am returning it. Also, one of the sweaters in the bag was the wrong color. What is going on? Also the garment and yarn used has changed.

Cotton, Soft Bone Colored Sweater
This is a beautiful cotton sweater that washes up nicely on delicate cycle and stays soft and keeps its shape. I especially like that the size Small fits perfectly on my frame, 5’4”, 110-lbs. I chose the soft Bone color and it goes perfectly with all my pants. I also like the crew neck fit and how it hangs nicely on my hips.

Fit is off in sleeves for tall size
I bought this in December and have since returned it. Was super happy to see the tall sizing as I usually find LL Bean clothing to be too short on me. The sweater fabric was nice, loved the weight, but the fit in the sleeves was way off. The sleeves were so small (circumference) that I could barely get my arms in them, let alone wear a shirt underneath. And my arms are definitely on the non-muscular side. So unfortunately I couldn’t keep it.

Great fit, Easy Wash
I bought two of these wonderful sweaters -- Burnt Mahoghany and Toffee Heath. Couldn't be happier. Hgh quality construction and a good fit. I washed one of the sweaters. I laid it flat for a day to dry but then popped it into the dryer to finish the process. Worked well and the sweater looked like new..

It was a 5 until I washed it and then it became a 3. I hand-washed it in cold water with a special detergent for delicates, rolled it in a towel to absorb water and laid flat to dry. It shrunk overall. The sleeves were tighter and shorter and the sweater was also shorter and tighter. I LOVED this sweater until that happened. Normally I'd have ordered a medium but it says "slightly fitted" so I sized up because I wanted a looser fit. I lost out on that guess. I should have ordered an XL to take in account the shrinkage!!!!

Shrunken Sweater - Not a Treasure!
This sizing of this sweater was so odd. I ordered it in my usual medium size, but after it arrived and I was about to try it on, I had a feeling it wasn't going to work because it just looked WAY smaller than the usual LL Bean medium size that I have worn for years. Sure enough, I could barely get my head through the neck opening, and when I did, I couldn't even get both of my arms into the arm openings because the sweater width was so much smaller than other LL Bean medium sweaters/tops. The sleeves looked quite smaller as well. Honestly, this sweater looked like it could have been an XS and not a M. I really wanted a navy blue Double L Cable Sweater; the fact that I've always worn a medium, and knowing that my body has not had any drastic changes in recent times, justifies just returning and not sizing up. Second LL Bean sizing problem within the past few months.

Bring back the original!
I own several Double L sweaters from previous years and they are perfect. But, this new version is a Looser gauge knit which makes it too bulky and heavy. I ordered size petite (I'm 5'1") but it is a bit too long. Please bring back the original!

White sweater
Bought this cable sweater to replace on I’d had for 20 years. Initially loved the look & feel of the sweater but after washing in cold water and reshaping to dry flat, the sweater became very short and the arms became really long by about 6 inches. Tried to wear it this week and it’s unwearable, the sleeves were way too long and the body of the sweater barely came to my waist. I normally wear a size Petite 2 or 4
