Please remove the rubber logo
HATE HATE HATE the rubber logo (barely visible on the webpage). Cannot get it off without ruining what is otherwise an accurately described item with nice covered seams and good wool knit. The material is great, but why this urge to tack on something so ugly and which shows through a layered garment? My old LLBean wool undergarments were just fine with a simple LLBean tag. I do not understand this urge for logos. Will keep this as need it, but will wear it only under heavier layers. Ugh.

This shirt is not warm
I purchased this layering shirt because I wanted one with a turtleneck.
I wore this under a sweatshirt when it was 55 degrees out and it was not warm.
It is too expensive. I have merino wool undershirts that I paid 1/5 th the price for that are much warmer.
I am returning the shirt.

Great for layering on warmth
This is a comfy warm layering turtleneck. It is to thin to wear on its own but a perfect layer. The wool is warm and soft- I do not notice scratchiness. The thumb loops are especially helpful in putting on the next layer. There was a an inch or so of shrinkage on washing, but there seems to be extra length built in- but I am petit anyway. The color is nice too.

NOT ITCHY
This shirt is so soft and warm. I am somewhat sensitive to some wools and I have no problem with this fabric. I both it specifically for a trip to the
Scottish Islands next summer and it won't disappoint. It will keep me warm in the wet, windy weather of Scotland.

Great fit
Fits great. I like the shoulder seams better on this top than on the short sleeve top. The way they are cut does not dig into my underarm like the short sleeve top does. This is thin enough to fit under dress shirts or other tops without being too tight. The neck is comfortable also. The thumb holes are great for keeping the sleeves down when putting other tops on.

STAYING WARM !!
I decided to size up to a large this time only because one of my other 150 cresta base layer tops is feeling too snug. The two other mediums I have are OK. This is much roomier, so I still need to try it to see how it works out wearing it under my other winter tops here in CT. I sometimes wear these even in fall and all day inside my home. They really help me to stay warm. I am 5'6" tall, 134 LBs and over 65 years old. I also tend to need more room through my shoulders, so therefore the Large this time.

Worth every cent!!
This turtleneck is exceptionally lightweight which makes it easy to wear under other layers. Also, the fabric content makes it decidedly warm. I washed it and hung it to dry which worked well.
