Fragile
I've had this coat for about a year now. The fabric on the sleeves and pockets is already fraying in multiple places. The fit is a bit boxy and stiff. I had initially been excited to find a coat made from mostly natural materials (although the lining is nylon) because I don't like the static electricity that polyester generates. But sadly the material is not very durable. Perhaps this is to be expected with cotton, but it's still disappointing to wear out an expensive coat in just one year.

Great jacket for the price
Great warm jacket. Sleeve length is good. Fit is slightly fitted. Pockets nice and deep. Great for early morning walks! Purchased in the dark green color which has the illusion of looking black at times. Warmer alternative to a barn jacket

Fantastic Coat
I recently ordered this coat. LL Bean calls it a sweater. It is not a sweater. At least not like any sweater I've ever owned. It is a coat. The color I ordered is called Dark Loden. I always thought loden meant dark green, but Google says loden is a combination of green and blue. The coat color looks almost brown to me, or brownish/greenish black. Not green, like Army green, which is what I thought it would be. I bought this coat because I am moving from San Francisco to Montana, and don't have a warm coat that is water resistant. I certainly think this coat will fit the bill. I like how it fits and how it looks. I like that it has a 2-way zipper. The pockets are great. I haven't had the chance to wear and it test it out, but so far I am very please with this sweater/coat. Highly recommended.

Yay! Pockets! Trim, down filled jacket
Got 1x, I won't wear tight clothes. Still fitted around my bust but not tight to zip. I can tell there is a little snugness around the DDdiamension in the arm pits, more than I am used to. I have a Filson wax canvas, and was worried about similar stiffness, but it is not. It blocks the wind, nicely. I have worn down to 19F, and was warm. Left and right breast pocket, one inside, one out. Please note care of this jacket.
