Perfect fit

Great winter coat
It is not heavy, rather light weight and yet very warm. Good wind blocking. The length is as given in the information on line, just over the hip. A very good coat for winter days particularly when you already have on a sweater and a full parka is too much.

A Great Jacket to Dress Up and Dress Down
When this jacket caught my eye last spring, I envisioned it as a more rugged quilted jacket. Having read the description and reviews, I figured this would be a great fit for fall and spring days. It ended up outperforming my expectations, being able to withstand mid-to-upper 30s with wind in downtown Boston on the daily. It even has enough room to fit a layer underneath, whether it be a vest or a quarter zip (my dad was even able to wear this over a suit jacket, I ended up buying him this jacket). Definitely a nice jacket to have that's low profile and is both dress up and dress down. This isn't a true winter coat, so don't expect it to keep you warm when you're wearing just a shirt and its below 30. The one thing I'd say can be improved is that the hand pockets be a bit deeper. I find my hands take up most of the space within them. Yes it's tight in the shoulders, but that's expected given I have broader shoulders and it explicitly states "slightly fitted". Overall, a jacket I will always reach for in my coat closet for years to come!

This jacket is fine for wind or cold, but not helpful in the rain. The pockets are not waterproof and it is impossible to keep your hands dry and warm on a rainy day.

Not very warm. Did not block the wind. No draw string around the bottom to keep the air out Sleeves did not fit tight around wrists
