Great for walking in the woods!
I wear these when we walk our dog whether through the woods or our neighborhood. They are very comfortable and provide excellent support and made of substantial materials. If my size were available in other colors, I'd buy them!

Looks great and it's comfortable
I'm a 75 y.o. slow walker - pavement for about 45 minutes. Shoe is really comfortable, roomy and has good arch support which I need. Only problem was that it didn't take long for the rubber area, in the toe, to pull away. I'm hoping crazy glue will fix at least the one that hasn't begun to split.

Would prefer Trail Model hikers
I had been wanting to try Oboz hiking shoes, and bought these when my favorite Bean's Trail Model hikers became (apparently) unavailable. I like these, but not as well as the Trail Model.

The shoe looked good and fit well, BUT the sole was soft and not firm so that if I were not moving forward, if I were trying to stand still, my weight would shift backwards and I would start falling over --backwards. I had to walk with a cane to keep myself on level.
