Pretty and weighty but not very absorbent.
Very pretty but not absorbent. They make up in weight and volume what they lack in absorption. I like my thinner towels better. They do a much better job of drying my skin.

Fabulous Towels
These are very nice quality towels. When I washed them for the first time, there was very little lint in the washer. After the second wash, there was almost no lint left behind. They feel luxurious. They are the perfect thickness because we can wash between our toes and the crevices of our ears. We are elderly people and didn't want towels that were so thick you had trouble handling them. These dry your skin very quickly. They turned out fluffy after washing and drying. I did not use any fabric softener or anti-static sheets. I'll be buying this brand again. I hope you get some more colors in stock. I would recommend these.

Quality control
Very nice towels. I did not wash them prior to using them. I was a little surprised surprised to finds a fabric run in a towel, hand towel, and a facecloth. I trimmed the runs with scissors and washed them accordingly. After the first wash I have not seen any more. This issue surprised me for such an expensive item and being purchased from LL BEAN. Quality control is one of the biggest reasons I have shopped at LL BEAN for so many years.

Love these towels!!!
These towels not only look good they are also quite soft. They last for ever! It takes a few was cycles before they become super absorbed but that’s no problem.

Pretty towels
Very pretty towels. I like the color combinations and the stripe effect. Am keeping my fingers crossed that these towels won’t fade as much as my last set of LLBean towels but only time will tell. The towels (bath & bath mat) are quite large and verge on oversized. Almost too “plush” to be effective to dry oneself off with - hope this may improve with repeated washings and drying. Otherwise I am pleased.

Great towels
These towels are extremely absorbent and fast drying. They are the right thickness for me - not too thick so they dry quickly. I have washed them quite a few times already and they have held up very well. I just love them!
