Not sateen - and very wrinkled.
I am disappointed in these sheets. They are not what I would call “sateen” and I’ve ordered sateen sheets from LL Bean before. Personally I like a percale but my husband likes the more satin-like finish. These are not it though. And they wrinkle terribly. Not the quality I expect from LL Bean.

Worth the price
The LLBean sheets are always on the top of the list in reviews. I bit and bought a king set. Firstly, the top sheet is really extra long so I can tuck in securely AND i have plenty of sheet left to cover our heads. Big win.
The sheets feel great now and will only get better with time. Worth the spurge.

Good but large

Inferior quality
Not the quality of the sheets that I've purchased from LLBean in the past. But, that is the same with most of the merchandise made today. The sheets are 100% cotton, but the cotton and weave is inferior.

Not a good change
For years I purchased 340 thread count sateen sheets from LLBean but they no longer offer the product. Customer Service said these sheets were the replacement. The garment wash makes them rough textured even after washing once. I returned them.

Lavender sheets
Beautiful color lavender. The sheets are thicker than I am used to for sateen sheets. As a result they feel warmer.

Sheets that fit well
The sheets are fine, but I have a suggestion. Most sheets now, particularly king size ones, have tags sewn into the fitted sheet that say side, or top/bottom. It makes putting the sheets on the bed so much easier, particularly with king size, as they're so large. With the cost of these sheets I was really surprised they didn't have these tags.

Sateen isn't really satin-y
Maybe I don't know what "sateen" means or it takes a while to wash out the rough newness, but these sheets are not nearly as soft as the sets I've bought in the past from LLB. I'm hoping they'll soften up with use and washings. The color is perfect, though.

Percale-like sateen
I hesitated to buy these as I never liked Sateen sheets. But I liked the seaside blue color and previous reviews indicated these were more like percale. I bought them to fit my new thicker mattress, and they are wonderful! Very beautiful and soft .

Not A Nice Texture For Sensitive Skin
They seem to be well-made, but I don't like the feel of the fabric. These are not soft or smooth and really don't have a nice texture for people with sensitive skin. The seaside blue is a lovely color.

bottom sheet ravelling
The bottom sheet looks like a cat has been sharpening its claws on it. We don't own a cat. We bought these sheets in April 2022 and have used the approximately 8 weeks. Very disappointed with the quality.

Best sheets ever!
These are the best sheets I have purchased in many years. This is the second set I purchased since purchasing the first set in in April this year.
There is minimal shrinkage after several washings, color dose not fade and the sheets fit perfectly.
These sheets are somewhat more expensive than those you could purchase in any of the big box stores however I think they are a good investment.
I would recommend this purchase.

Garnet Washed Sateen sheets
I thought these sheets were rough to the touch and not the quality of sateen from a few years ago that I was expecting so they were returned. Bring back the sateen sheets from a few years ago.

Good Feeling Sheets
I'm very pickey about sheets and was hesitant on ordering some without "feeling" them but went ahead anyway . I love these sheets. They are generous in size and feel really good. I couldn't be more pleased.

Garment washed sateen sheets
The smoothness was nice, the finishing touches were nice and the sizes were perfect. but the sheets were way too wrinkly for my tastes I returned them based on that alone

Finish the Same as Percale Sheets
The sateen sheets we bought were a decent quality set of percale sheets. There was essentially nothing sateen about them. We own a set of LLBean percale sheets, and we put those next to our new, supposedly-sateen sheets and there was virtually no difference between them. If you are seeking actual sateen sheets, with that extra smooth sateen finish, you need to shop elsewhere. If you want a good set of percale sheets, just buy LLBean percale sheets - there's no point in paying the extra cost for "sateen" that's not sateen.
