Looks good, but poor quality construction
It is a very comfortable shoe and its easy to dress up or down.
That being said the build quality was terrible, immediately after buying it the welting totally separated.
I glued it back together and it's held up so far.

Unique color and heavy laces
These shoes are made from quality leather, no man made products in the "uppers" and nice insole. They are not as high at the heel as I like. The leather does not stain or run if you spill liquid on it or get slightly wet from dew. They are expensive because they are well made from real leather and dyed uniformly.

Unfortunate
Great looking shoe but poorly constructed. 1st pair fell apart with a the first month of wearing them the replacement pair did the same thing. These should be pulled off the shelf.

Wears poorly.
Bought 12/22. Used a lot but normally mostly indoors. Extremely comfortable, but sole detached in 1/24. Still a frequent customer, because clothing lasts years, but this was an unpleasant surprise.

DO NOT BUY! Great style but they fall apart fast!
I received these for Christmas and have been wearing them for about 6-8 months after I thought my old shoes were looking worn. I really love the style but after a month the rubber tags on both that said LL Bean fell off. Not a big deal but on my Chuck Taylors it generally takes way longer for that to happen. Then a few months later the rubber on my left shot started to detach from the leather. The right shoe was perfectly fine up until this week when the sole fell out! I work from home. Don't exercise like I should and don't go for walks. I'm now back to my older shoes that I've worn for two years and they look better than these. I'll be reaching out to LL Bean with these comments in hopes of a replacement or refund. Historically their shoes have been great but I can't recommend these.
