I bought these to wear around the house in the summer and to do Tai Chi when it's warm. I'm a 62-year-old woman who appreciates comfort and quality even in a pair of casual shorts. These are well made from durable material. They have good, deep pockets, unlike women's shorts and pants. They come about mid-thigh on me. They are sure to last a long time! I bought them in green because that was the sale color and they're Kermit green. I would go for a neutral if sale price didn't matter.

Nice shorts
Fit is true to size. Nice, comfortable shorts. The draw string could use more "grab" as the string has to be tightened about every 30 minutes if you have anything in the pockets to weigh the shorts down.

Elastic waistband
I’m looking for a real elastic waist band. These shorts rely to heavily on the drawstring. Not good. I can’t wear a belt due a bad back so elastic waist bands are a must.
