Great lightweight, but warm jacket!
Great jacket! Feels light but is warm enough down to about 35 degrees in NYC. Roomy enough to wear a thick sweater under, so we ordered up on sizing (between a S and M and ordered M).
Only wish it had an internal chest pocket.

Well designed for sure. It's lightweight but keeps me warm. The hood is great....covers your entire head and doesn't blow off when a good wind kicks up. I get lots of compliments when I wear this jacket.

Love this coat!
Love this coat! Lightweight but very warm. I wore it in 30-40 degree weather and it kept me warm. Runs on the small side so order a size up. The colors are very stylish. It does need inside pockets, that’s just something to get used to.

Mountain Classic Puffer Hooded Jacket
Looking for a reliable jacket with hoods which is suitable for temperature from 40-55 F during late fall to early Spring in NJ. Generally I like the color combination & design, but I can only I rate it 4 starts instead of 5 because of the omission of inner pocket, which is unacceptable. Also the outer pockets do not have zippers.

Not as tall as a tall person might want
I selected this jacket for my husband because of the colors, the hood, and warmth rating. I love my LL bean jacket and I trust the brand, so I looked here for a men's jacket for my tall husband. He is 6'4 and this jacket was definitely not long enough for him, which was a huge disappointment. It hit just at the hip, and if he lifts his arms or bends over, its chilly city. If big and tall doesn't fit, what else is there? Someone direct me to the Extra Tall section.

Very thin, comically small. XXXL Tall fit like XL
I routinely wear XXLT but decided to size up for layering. The XXXLT was very tight in the shoulders and I could t zip it up. I’m sad because it looks cool but the sizing is way off.

How did L.L. Bean, renowned outdoor outfitter whose staffers are said to try new designs before we buy them, create a “warmer” Men's Mountain Classic Puffer Hooded Jacket having no hemline drawstring cinching it around our hips? Flapping in the breeze, this jacket below my waist is worthless. Don’t buy it. I’m returning mine.

Really comfortable, super warm, hood doesn't block peripheral vision, really big, well designed pockets and it looks great. One of my favorite jackets I have ever owned. My only criticism is that the pocket buttons have a high pitched click which is sort of annoying, but that's a silly criticism

Perfect...except...
Wonderful light, milldly warm puffer jacket for men, but it NEEDS zipper pockets and ONE INSIDE ZIPPER pocket to be perfect. The snap pockets drive husband nuts. Men are fussy about these things. Excellent price and quality otherwise. I will be looking for your upgrade! This jacket also travels well as does the ladies jacket I bought.
