The clear winner for me
I needed a sling bag for a two week trip through Central Europe. I tried four bags out and this was the clear winner for several reasons. First, it is stow away and took up the least room in my luggage. It was also the lightest weight, without sacrificing strength. It also had a great 2 pocket design that allowed me to put small items in an easy to reach area, and a large pocket that zipped wide open to easily store my extra layer. This bag also had the biggest capacity without sacrificing comfort. It was comfortable to wear as well, and you can put it on and off using the easy buckle or over your head. I used it every day on my trip and it was the clear winner. So well designed and great quality.

Nice sling bag.
Very Comfortable and lightweight. Perfect for carry some water bottles while hiking. The only thing is the zipper is in a way that things could fall out if you’re not careful when opening.

The whole thing is just akward to wear.
I purchased this for a trip overseas and wanted something small to carry my passport, spare battery, water bottle, and other small items instead of a full size backpack. It worked fine for the most part, but when a full water bottle was placed in the mesh holder, the whole thing becomes unbalanced and constantly slides down off your chest. Then your water bottle is horizontal and can easily fall out. It became so much of a pain that I ended up buying a backpack while on my trip and used it instead of this sling bag.

This bag is a great size for packing what you need for the day, (i.e., keys, phone, wallet, glasses, hand sanitizer, water, snacks, etc.) and love the Soft Juniper color.
I took off a star because I feel it needs compartments/pockets/zippered areas on the inside of the bag to help keep items more concise and easier to find with greater ease. Also, there is an excess of strap which causes a tiny bit of bulk while wearing.
Overall, I like it.

Not constructed very well..
Nice bag, but the water bottle keeps falling out of the pouch every time I where it. The mesh pouch isn’t constructed properly. New LLBean water bottle is now damaged pretty badly after only a few weeks of use.

Comfortable and the right size
I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but did try it on after reading reviews about the strap on the neck. I adjusted the strap length and found it very comfortable, and the size was exactly what I wanted. I have a bunch of back packs, but wanted something a little smaller. I had been worried with all of the reviews about how small it was, so I was happy to see there was plenty of space for my needs. You could fit a light jacket, I tried a 23 oz Poland spring bottle in the water bottle pocket and it fit up to the top of the shoulder, maybe they redesigned it?

Not a complete fail
This is a sturdy little bag and pretty comfortable to sling on, but it’s just a bit too small to store the kinds of things you might want to carry in a sling: water, a notebook, extra socks. The open outer pocket can hold a cellphone but it’s not secure. The smaller zip pocket is awkward. Accessing anything on the go - a lip balm, a tissue - basically requires that you stop and take the sling off. So good idea, not very well executed. I’ll keep it for hiking.

Adequate but small design improvement needed
Purchased for a recent trip to Puerto Rico. Decent size and comfortable to carry. The only thing I would suggest would be to incorporate a small zippered compartment inside the main section of the bag to hold a wallet. This would safeguard against the wallet or card case falling out, or falling to the bottom of the bag amidst all the other contents. Other than that I was happy with my purchase.

The bag doesn’t fit well to the body. The straps were not sewn correctly. There isn’t enough room in the pockets and wearing it like it’s a backpack makes it difficult to get in and out of.

Actually used this for the first time today. It truly is lightweight, but the strap bothered my neck, needing to be over a collar. Overall, I think it's too small. A tightly rolled hoodie over-filled the larger compartment, leaving no room for a snack. The little compartment was good for tissues, balm, keys. Outside pocket was ok for water. I plan to use it in the future but just will not think of it as a 'pack'.

So far I like it
This is the first time I've used a sling and I haven't used it very much yet. And it's only been during cold weather over thick jackets/coats. It is comfortable to wear. The strap is very lightweight and doesn't always hold where I've tightened it, but that also means it's comfortable and that when I need to change it it moves easily. I like the 2 zip compartment design but I'm not sure yet how useful the mesh pocket will be: it is deep but of course not secure. I got the item on sale so the idea was just to check it out. So far I'm happy with it but can't say yet whether it has changed my life. Generally I hope to carry minimal stuff in pockets so I do like having this hands free option to try out.

Great Sling Pack
