Good enough to keep
Well-- I like the beanflex part, the stretch in the fabric is nice. Unfortunately this second pair of jeans is not "slim" as the first pair. I thought of returning them but will keep them and make do. I am sure that there are variabilities in the sizing. Probably can not be remedied.

Great All-around Jeans
These are now my everyday jeans. The slim fit is not baggy, but not too tight. The stretch fabric allows easier movement than heavy all-cotton, and it's little cooler too. Just bought a third pair.

Chemical smell
I can’t get rid of the chemical smell in these jeans. It’s only after I’m wearing them for a bit that my body heat seems to activate these chemicals. I’ve soaked them in white vinegar (suggested by the internet), but still no luck. I no longer have the return slip. Oh well.

The back pockets have changed
My husband has been wearing these jeans for a long time. They fit him well. The last modification has made them slightly baggier but the biggest problem is the large, low back pockets. These jeans are low rise so the pockets no longer are on the rear but now ride partway down the back thighs.
He only kept one pair since he needed new jeans and has limited choices that fit his need for a very short rise.

I used to order "classic fit" all the time, but finally realized they were too big for me. So i switched to "slim fit", and finally got to my right size of 36w/32L. I am 6'3", 250. Much better. i gave 4 stars instead of 5, because they could be a little slimmer, but good enough.

Inconsistent Sizing
Have two other pairs of these same stock number jeans that fit fine. Pair just received are being returned as they do not fit the same - too big in butt and thighs. Have worn LL Bean jeans exclusively for years, but apparently now have to shop elsewhere.

Good Fit
Well cut, good fitting jeans. Doesn't look like old man's jeans. But the key to fit is buying the right size for your build. Do that an these jeans will make you look 10 years younger and 10 lbs. lighter.

Something's changed ...
My husband has purchased and worn these jeans for years ... probably as long as they've been offered. This last order was returned: the width of the legs was easily 3 inches wider than the previous purchase of these exact same jeans and the fit in the seat was too loose. And yes - I double checked and I ordered the exact same style and size. Sadly returned.

They don’t wear out
LL Bean jeans are the only ones my husband will wear. They last forever. He has two pair that are still good to go after 8 years. I got these new ones “just in case”! My only issue is that they don’t come in 28” inseam.

Needs more room in the crotch
I really like the fit and the quality and everything else, but everythng is being squished and pressed on, its almost as if people lacking that equipment made these jeans. Levis and others make room but these have no extra room and things are constantly being pressed on. I switch between these jeans and Levis and these have way less room in the crotch. So much so that these LL Bean jeans will be backup jeans when my Levis aren’t available to wear.

Leg Much Wider in New Jeans of the Same Model
After two returns, I was able to find the best fit for me on these jeans. A couple months later, I ordered another of the same pair. Unfortunately, despite having the same exact style number, the leg was much wider than my initial pair and seem more like "relaxed fit" legs rather than "straight fit". It appears that there is little consistency in fit from batch to batch.

Nice Jeans
I have several pairs of these jeans in the classic fit, but with my frame there is too much material in the seat. Therefore I ordered the slim-fit style this time. However, I will have to exchange these jeans for the next smaller waist size since I miscalculated the fit. These jeans are really good for 3 seasons, but a little bit warm in hot summer months. They don't breathe quite as well as 100% cotton.

Became HUGE
I bought a few pair of these a few years ago, and I loved the fit. The length was perfect, and so was the fit. I'd describe that fit as "barely slim" in that the jeans was sort snug against my thighs and calves but just barely. There was plenty of room in the knees.
I just received a new pair, and I swear that you could fit another one of me in these jeans. While the waist is about perfect and the length is okay, the seat, thighs, and calves are absurdly baggy. It feels like I'm wearing someone else's pants.
I cannot even begin to imagine what a more relaxed fit would be like.
