Feels like an old friend right out of the box.
OK, so it actually came in a padded envelope. You know what I meant! I love the fit of this shirt: not to tight and not too baggy. It has a great feel the first time you put it on, and I can tell that it's only going to get softer and more "mine" the more I wash it and wear it.

Quality decline
I don’t think my new chambray is the same quality design as others I’ve purchased. I formerly got two matching pockets, with contrasting white buttons. Silly perhaps, but the shirt just seems cheeply made, and less attractive as a result. Perhaps LLBean didn’t think we noticed or cared. I do. Last year’s shirt is better than this year’s.

Lovely shirt. Great weight. Runs BIG
I love this shirt. I got the dark chambray and it is exactly what I wanted. The weight is perfect and I am using it as kind of a light jacket on cool mornings. It will be a go to this fall for sure. FYI the fit is really big. I am a large man…6’2” and 260. I am 56. My athletic build has crossed w a dad bod. I got the xl tall and I swam in it. Returned for the Large regular and it fits well. Even the sleeves fit and I have 35” sleeve length. The bit of mandex is nice too and it adds a bit of stretch and holds the shirts shape. I’ll be buying another color for sure.
