Poor manufacturing
Shank in each boot coming loose and clicking with every step. Glue wasn’t set. Now have no box, and boots are worn. Sad about advertised quality vs actual.

The horizontal seam on the back of the heel is too low, can be felt on one's heel, rides on the back of the curve of the heel, and makes the boot feel like you are stepping out of the boot with each step. The LLBean boots I bought a decade ago had no seam in that location. Rather the seems were vertical up to the top of the boot. Speed laces on the top two eyes would improve getting the boots on and off. A loop of leather on the top of the back of the boot would help with putting the boot on better than the simple leather tab. I had hopes the boots would be as wearer friendly as the last pair. They are not.

A good quality boot
I bought a pair about 5 months ago and they are still going strong. A well designed and crafted boot. It is definitely a cheaper alternative than Red Wing boots. It didn't take too long breaking them in. Great sole grip. One thing I would change, however, would be the laces. They are too long and started breaking after a few months. Invest in a good pair of proper shoelaces and you should be fine.

great quality that you have to break in
boots are great once broken. it took me a while because i didnt wear regularly. Im sure they will last several more years. the laces could be higher quality. i paid 200 for mines and would recommend the purchase. i would not want to break them in again but now i dont want to work without them.

Worst boots I’ve ever had
Heel cups and inside soles caused bruises and blisters on both feet to bleed after 1 day of use. Do not buy these.

Fantastic quality, long lasting, and more!
I have prosthetic feet, so I was concerned about the sizing. Low and behold: these are sized perfectly, look stylish, and are much easier to put on when compared to the sneakers I usually put on my "feet." They're comfortable, easy to move around in, and look extremely durable, so I am excited to see how long they last.
