New Family Advent Calendar
We have a two year old boy and another on the way, so excited to get our own family advent calendar to carry on this fun tradition. So this will be in use for many years to come hopefully.
The quality is acceptable but I can see it not surviving a drop on the floor. We’ll just have to be a little careful with it with two little boys. I do wish it was a bit more sturdy and drawers just a little bit larger. However, overall happy with our purchase!

Drawers too small
It looks nice but the drawers for each day are ridiculously small. I had dreams of buying little dinosaurs or parachuting green men. Nope. They fit two Resse kisses or a couple gummy bears.

Great advent calendar, wish the drawers had stops
Very cute, fun, sturdy, good size and great overall…except that all the little drawers fall out if it is tipped forward a bit. It would be a 5/5 if the drawers had stops on them.

A fantastic gift
It looks great but the drawers are very small and it was a little challenging to find small candies and toys that fit. We bought the truck advent calendar and the woodland tree advent calendar as gifts. I think the woodland tree looks better in person than the truck.

Top Notch Fun
Gave this to my granddaughter and her husband for my great grandson to enjoy. The family was thrilled! I wrote a note and sent along a few fun trinkets to get them going. The truck is pretty long and it is very sturdy with a quality paint job.

PERFECT CHILD'S GIFT
I ordered this for a two-year-old great-grandson who loves everything that has WHEELS.
It is well-made, larger than I had anticipated - which is great - and I'm sure it will be enjoyed for years. This year, I filled the little drawers with pictures that will help explain the Christmas story - including shepherds, sheep, angels, foods people ate at the time Jesus was born. Thank you for the great gift idea!

Red Truck Advent Calendar
This is an attractive advent calendar, but the sharp edges of the wooden frame make it unsuitable for young fingers and hands. Too bad, because it's the very image that will attract my grandson to want to touch it and open the compartments himself!

Previous reviews are correct. $60 quality? Nope. Reminds me of the scene from Elf, “but the book is missing pages …. who cares, ship it!” Drawers sag out, they don’t even line up. LL Bean fail.

Disappointed. Terrible quality!
Like other reviewers, I agree, the quality is terrible for the price. The paint was chipped on all sides of the drawers and on the knobs. The paint is faded from the photo... without a protective layer, there's no wonder it chips so easily. The drawer images don't match up with the background image. I doubt it would look good after a year or so. The knobs are glued on and some of them have a ton of extra glue around them. Does not look good. The wood is also a very thin (maybe 1/16") plywood for the drawers.
I have an LL Bean advent calendar from the 90s/2000s and it is such high quality, I really expected the same from this one. Unfortunately it is being returned immediately.

Not quite LL Bean quality
I was disappointed with this product in multiple ways. First, the boxes are so small there are few items that will fit into them. When it’s moved much, the drawers fall out. It isn’t as sturdy and nice overall as I would expect from LL Bean.

Gift That Keeps Giving!
I purchased four Advent calendars, two trucks and two trees, as gifts and delivered them early to give the recipients time to plan for surprises to fit into the drawers. I suggested placing notes with clues for finding larger surprises in some of the drawers. All four recipients were extremely pleased with their gifts and plan to use them for their future Christmas seasons. It truly is the gift that keeps giving!

Not worth the money.
I am extremely disappointed with this Advent Calendar. It is too big to be practical and looks cheap and poorly made, especially with the logo splashed along the bottom. Although I think of llbean as selling a premium product, this one misses the mark by a mile and I will be returning it.
