Great for the big boys
I'm 275 and 5'9, pretty stocky. Sitting between a large and extra large depending on brand. The large fits me well and more importantly, it looks great. Not too loose, not too tight, doesn't make me look bigger. Love it. Ordered one and came back for three more.

Perfect 3 season
The shirt is lighter than some Bean flannels I have. No collar buttons. The colors are very good. A good 3 season (maybe 4 if you wear flannel in the summer) with expected Bean quality.

Almost ideal, but
LL Bean does not keep them in stock! I look every couple of months because I have tried dozens of flannel shirt types from Bean and elsewhere and this one (513682) is my favorite. With the poly and a bit of some stretchy material (59% cotton, 39% polyester, 2% spandex) it is an ideal combination. It doesn't keep on shrinking just a little like ALL the 100% cottons. It is sized right, looks nice and remains ultra-comfortable after many dozens of washings. I want to ask the Bean folks to do two things: Order more and don't change the specs.
