Too Tight at Ankles
Good luck getting these off of your ankles after a full day of fishing. I struggled to get them off even in my living room. Foot stocking were also tight. I am a size 11 and this was a large.

Not a bad wader…
I’m on my second season with these and for some reason I was hoping they would loosen up down in the calf /ankle and foot area. But,unfortunately they are not going to. They are very difficult getting them off after a long day on the river. Putting them on the fit like a glove but that’s not good in trying to get your feet out of them. And I have a few seam leaks as usual . I like the comfortable feel they have when wading but it doesn’t take much to penetrate or damage the seam areas. Otherwise they feel like a comfortable pair of sweatpants but not tough enough to be a flyfishermens wader.

Fits great and keeps out the water.
Best waders of all I’ve bought from LL Bean, and I used the special price to trade-in ones that leaked. The shoulder straps seem better designed to not be in the way.

“Stretch?”
Only worn once. Traded in Emerger wader size L, had to get XL for bootie fit (13), but they’re better attached. Seems like lighter material in body and booties. In store stock would be helpful when sizing.

Non Quality wader
I received the Men’s Double L Stitch Stockingfoot waders to replace my other LLBean waders. My other waders had Double Knees & were made a lot better than these waders. No double knees in the new waders. I feel that the Quality of these waders isn’t as good as my previous waders & the price has really increased. They are not giving you a quality product for the money. The shin area seems like they were made for a women, they were very tight, then the rest of the wader was sized for a man.
I feel that LL Bean can give their customers a better product for the money.
