Maximum warmth with minimal bulk
Very warm but yet lightweight Berber fleece provides maximum warmth yet minimal bulk! Machine washable and dries very quickly with no shrinkage or loss of shape. As a person in her 80’s who has searched for years for garments to keep her warm this Cozy Cottage fleece funnel neck has proved the winner! Unfortunately LLBean does not seem to be actively supplying stock for this line. Since I discovered this item last Dec finding colors and sizes is a hit or miss situation. Maybe LLBean us phasing thus our? Through frequent visits to the site last winter I managed to find this top in 5 different colors and they were my “go to” tops fid the rest of the winter.
Having said all that I returned this top because I did not like like the Buffalo plaid look. Burgundy, navy, emerald green, soft rose and recently soft spruce all worked very well.

My absolute favorite warmest fleece top
With this purchase I now have 5 of these wonderful Cozy Cottage Funnelneck pullovers. They are my go to tops in the winter. This top is soft, not bulky but the Sherpa fleece on the outside with all that loft results in a surprisingly warm garment. It is as warm as my 100% wool LLBean sweaters when I wear it over a light weight LLBean thermal top. On the coldest winter days I wear my Cozy Cottage fleece! shirt (actually more of a jacket) over it. The funnel neck keeps my neck warm and it is not at all hard to pull on—better than a turtle neck.
As to size, I am 5’1” tall, weigh 125 and a petite small is the right size for me. I am short waisted and the top falls 7” below my waist. One of my 5 tops is a regular small and it is a lot longer and one is a petite medium and if is a bit roomy.
I highly recommend this top!
