Style amazing, fit strange
This is my second pair of Bean Boots. The previous pair is still wearable after almost 6 years of heavy wear.
I would give the style of the boots 10 stars, but the fit is just so strange, which is why I’m going with 4 stars overall.
I have a standard width foot, but the Bean Boots seem extremely wide—especially at the ankle. I don’t want to size down a full size, so I go with my standard size 11. The flannel lining is really comfortable but quite thin.

Feat of Engineering
Today it was cold and rainy in New Hampshire so I decided to wear my new Bean Boots for the first time ever. They run a touch big but no match for a nice pair of thick socks! Between the parking lot and my office, I walked through no less than 6 puddles and my feet stayed bone dry. These boots were made for walking (and keeping feet dry) and that's just what they do! Felt awkward
These boots were good looking. I wanted them to work out. Unfortunately the uppers were uncomfortable around the shin, laced awkwardly, and just didn't feel as high quality as I had hoped. The shoe did feel a half size larger than I am accustomed to, which the website stated. I'm a fan of L.L. Bean and will continue to try products, but this one was too uncomfortable to wear.

Best ever
Have been wearing a pair of LL Bean boots for over 70 years. They are the best that I have found for comfort and quality. Have worn them in the field and on the office in many occasions. Nothing beats these boots…nothing.

Love my Bean Boots!
My latest pair of Bean Boots came today. Great work, Audrey in Brunswick! The boots are beautiful and amazing. I’m honored that you are my boot maker. I wanted a pair of lined Bean Boots and loved the plaid flannel and the color combo on sale in the men’s version. Wearing them now in eastern Arizona mountains. It’s about 76 F and my feet are comfy, not sweating either. I recommend buying Bean Boot socks for all Bean Boots. I put the boots on as soon as they arrived and wore them to the market.
