Things Have Changed

Sophisticated simplicity
Comfortable fit, not too tight around the toes. Light weight, right height on the ankle. Cushioned for complete comfort!! After purchasing 2 pairs and wearing one as I type, I have ordered 10 more pairs. I find that when Bean has a product that is "right on", I realize they will not sell them forever. So, I respond by buying multiple pairs. I still have some form 5 years ago! Thanks you Bean.

Run way too large!
I ordered my size. I wear a woman's size 7 shoe. They were huge. I double checked the size on the label. I gave them to my brother. They fit his size 13 feet perfectly. The quality was okay. I expected much better at that price. I'll stick with Smartwool brand.

Comfortable and durable!
Comfortable and durable! I'm particular about socks and these are my favorite! The fabric feels good, the stitching does not interfere with my sensitive feet, and they are the right elasticity so they don't bind and aren't too loose. Love these!

I seem to be addicted to LL Beans Cresta clothing line. I have 4 pairs of pants, 2 or so shorts, and now 3 pairs of socks. I will leave it at that. No higher praise than repeat purchases.

Love but a Bit Large
These are my favorite socks, hiking or not!
I love the turquoise color. They're very comfortable. I like that you have a choice on the thickness.
I found that they run a bit large. I'm a 7&1/2 to 8 in shoes but I found if I order these in the next smaller size bracket, they fit perfectly, otherwise they're a bit large, even after washing and drying in warm heat.
Be sure to Line-Dry these if you don't want them "pilling."
I've bought several pairs of these because they are awesome!

Great quarter-crew socks
I needed another pair of quarter-crew socks to come just at/above my ankles. I wanted something comfortable, plush and warm and thankfully these are it. I can imagine hiking in these all day without any issues. They're warm and if paired with proper shoes should be able to get you through some significantly colder temps. They fit a little large/long which isn't enough to influence my like of them too much but I really would like to have tried a size down which I normally don't have to consider. On my second wearing of them I mulled over whether or not I need to send them back or if I could make due and decided to keep them. There's a part of me each time though that would have liked to have gotten the size down just to really see which is better. I wear a 10.5 or 11 in shoes which usually equates to a Large when it comes to socks.
