Our twist on a classic, with authentic cable designs from the Aran Islands. This updated boyfriend sweater is made from crispy cotton yarns that are substantial and reach further into the seasons than traditional wool.
We chose densely-knit cotton yarns to give our cable sweater three-season appeal. It's more relaxed than traditional fisherman sweaters, offering supreme comfort and easygoing style.

Nice but oversized
Very nice, thick cotton but the size is larger than usual. I put it in the dryer to try to shrink it at bit, but it remained pretty much the same. It’s comfortable and it fits a bit like a tunic for me.

I am 5'4", 135 lbs with small chest. I usually order a Medium but I ordered a small based on other reviews that it runs big and it fit me perfectly. I ordered the "black" color which actually is more of a dark grey/charcoal which is fine - I like the color. The quality is excellent. It's a beautiful sweater. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Welcome the winter in cozy comfort
I love the easy fit and style of this Fisherman sweater. Looks relaxed and comfy, and it is! This sweater is a Maine classic and makes me quite happy wearing it--my daughter loves it on me, so she is getting one under the tree this Christmas!

Signature Fisherman Sweater
I've had my eye on this sweater for quite some time. I'm so glad I bought it in beige. Love the detail of the design. This runs bigger than the Signature fishermen sweaters of a few years ago, so I ordered a medium instead of my usual large.

Nice, but.........
I Loved this, but I now live in VA vs Upstate NY where I came from. I kept thinking is this to be too warm for me. I have Several LLB sweaters and Love them all. BUT Now living in VA, I Rarely wear a sweater as I did in NY. wearing one Nearly EVERY DAY from late Oct. - April. I contemplated keeping it. But last minute I ended up returning it figuring it would be too warm for this area. I have more then plenty of sweaters but can always use another IF the weather accounted for it. This is Made REALLY NICE! I Highly recommend it IF you live in COLDER climates.
