Need to be tall for your feet to reach the ground.
We returned the chair. Neither my wife nor I can sit in it. At 5'2" and 5'6" our feet do not hit the ground because of the steep pitch of the seat, and because of that, the front of the seat cuts into our legs. It is a great chair otherwise.

comfy but really hard to open and close
I liked the fact that this chair has a firmer/flatter seat- why I bought it. We have had it for a month and during our vacation, 4 of us adults struggled with opening and closing the thing, even using the "hold one hand at the top and the other hand on the diagonal chair arm" advice. really, it was ridiculously hard. Maybe I got a lemon, but - we are reluctantly returning it.

Great chair after difficult setup.
Great after difficult setup. Took it to beach for a week. Every day we had a difficult time expanding the chair. Was not a user problem as several times people stopped to help and they were frustrated also. Maybe there is an easy procedure, but we never found it.

Great gift for newlyweds!
Selecting two of these camp chairs for a wedding gift for an older couple was genius! They loved the comfort of sitting securely and the ease of transporting these seats for use at the beach, enjoying outdoor concerts and a parade, and as spectators at their grandchildren’s sporting events.

Solid chair
Great height and comfort. I bought it because I had previously bought the low chair which is better suited for the beach and I had trouble getting in and out of it. I do wish it had a more substantial cup holder but the bag on the side does the job.
