Why is this discontinued?
I love the pima open cardigan and have purchased several over the years (in a plus size) with the short sleeved crew tee and turtleneck in matching colors. I wear these outfits to the office frequently. I am VERY unhappy to see that the open cardigan has been discontinued. The product it's been replaced with is a shorter, form-fitting cardigan with buttons. A totally different style. Why couldn't LLB just add that new product for people who have the right figure type to wear it (young and skinny), and not discontinue the open cardigan which is longer, looser and looks better on larger or more mature women? Without the open cardigans for sale in the same or new colors, I can't buy them and also will have no reason to buy the crew neck tees or the turtlenecks no matter how pretty the colors are. You just lost a customer.

My "go-to" cardigan
This cardigan is great for layering. I have bought several of these but the black was the one I used the most. I always had it with me when traveling and it was perfect for work. It goes with everything, is the perfect weight, and the quality is great. I unfortunately lost my black one at an airport recently and now it is being discontinued and no longer available in my size!
I am shocked to hear it is being discontinued. LL Bean, please reconsider this decision!

Great staple
Over the years I have bought this cardigan in many colors. It washes and dries beautifully, and holds up well over years of wear. It has a pretty casual look, but can be dressed up if wanted. My only complaint is that I wish there were more colors to choose from. (Specifically would love it in a true red!)

My go-to layer!
I love the feel of the pima cotton shirts and was delighted when I stumbled upon this cardigan/jacket. It is soft, well-designed with pockets, and is perfect for an extra layer in air conditioning during the summer or as a lightweight layer in the winter. It is comfortable and casual but also can look dressy. It's a great travel jacket. I bought mine several months ago and love it so much I bought one for my sister, who also loves it. Please bring back all of the sizes and don't change a thing!
