Perfect under jeans and warm
Nice lightweight base layer that jeans slide over nicely. Runs slightly large. Love the pattern and they keep me warm on my winter hikes.

Good fit under jeans
I bought these at a llbean outlet store. They are thin enough to wear under jeans without a bulky appearance. Very warm for my winter walks or downtown shopping in the Adirondacks. I also plan to wear these for spring kayaking under my regular kyak pants.
The fit is just slightly big.

Almost perfect base layer.
These are almost perfect. The fabric slips nicely into outer pants. The length is generous and the legs taper nicely. But the waist is cut a little high for me and the elastic is a little tight.

Warm & cozy without feeling like layers
They’re a nice, thin material which doesn’t get too bunched up or twisted by other clothes. I bought them to wear for walking in winter, but have been wearing them around the house too because they’re so cozy.

Sleek Comfort & Warmth
I really like this fabric because your outer pants easily slide on. Some of the other fabrics tend to grab, especially if your wearing lined jeans. They also don't create any bulk.

nice pants for some, just not for me
I purchased sets of each women’s baselayer weight to compare at home. This item fit well, but I wished the waistband of the fair isle set was a continuation of the fabric on the outside (the way most of the baselayers are made) instead of the LL Bean logo as I found the former more attractive on. The fair isle colors also weren't for me. Hoping to see more color options in the future ...
