Deep pockets!
I use a backpack for walking to work and want it to double as a purse during the day. I returned this because all of the pockets go all the way down to the bottom of the bag. I like to have small individual pockets to keep things organized but putting anything in any of them you then have to fish around up to your elbows to find anything. Gods for larger items but not functional for me. So I returned.

Basic backpack, not bad but nothing fancy
This is a fairly basic backpack with the essentials; but it is a bit on the small side. The cary handle on the first one I received broke right away, but LL Bean were great and immediately sent out a replacement, which has held so far. I think for simple work where you don't have too much gear it's fine; it just is missing some whistles and bells.

I bought this backpack for my daughter and she absolutely loves it! The bottom buckle is a bit uncomfortable as it reaches her pelvis, however, the support is fantastic and weight is well-distributed. She carries only her essentials, but there's plenty of room to really pack things in. The water bottle pocket is a bit tight, but if you purchase a regular tall water bottle it will be easy to access. I also love that it's not mesh so I know it will last longer. Overall, a great investment!

Water bottle pockets way to small
Not only does a 2” binder barely fit in this backpack after struggling with it, the side pockets for water bottles do not fit a standard width water bottle. This is not a backpack made for school use.
