Great jacket! Hiked Mt Pierce in the rain and stayed dry and comfortable. Fit was also perfect.

I bought this coat for a diplomatic tour in Baghdad in 2003. In 2024, the pockets gave out. I think 21 years and a lot of rugged use makes this a 10-star coat. I was sad to throw it out.

Long time fan of LLBean all weather/rain jackets/coats. This one will be residing in Scotland where the weather is wet and blusterery. Perfect weight for layering, hood for rain, feminine shape for ladies who like to look great while keeping dry and warm. Love it. Purchased berry color

Too stiff for me
Although I have no doubt that this jacket would hold up well, it was too stiff for me and the hood was quite large. I've opted for a different style from a different manufacturer and hope it will hold up well against the rains we seem to be having more and more. The other suggestion I'd make is that a coat such as this needs a flap to cover the front zipper where everyone knows rain can seep in.

Great fit, too long for 5'1" frame.
This jacket was wonderful. Loved all the features and especially the color. Was not noisy which was a plus. Unfortunately I returned it because it was too long in the torso and arms. I am 5'1" and this coat would have been cumbersome to wear hiking when having to climb over rocks/trees. Please make this jacket in a Petite - I would buy for sure. Deducted a star because it doesn't come in Petite.
