Quality disappointment
After looking for a full-zip sweatshirt that did not have a hood, I was excited to find the L.L.Bean Quilted Full-Zip Sweatshirt. You can imagine my surprise and disappointment when, after only 6 weeks of wear, the underarms pilled. I would not recommend this sweatshirt.

Love the color and style.
I have another one of these from two years ago that I love. I lost weight and needed a smaller size, so I ordered this cream colored one. It is slightly more dressy than just a sweatshirt and is great to wear in the cooler temps of spring. It washes well and keeps it shape. Has nice big pockets for my phone on walks with my dog.

Too much pilling : (
I like the color of my sweatshirt and the fit, however after only about 2 months of occasional casual wear, there are a lot of pills in the fabric all along the underside of the arm from the armpit to the wrist. Unfortunately it's become something I only wear around the house rather than out of the house.

Harmful to your health!
Unfortunately this garment was manufactured in Asia and has a strong chemical smell! This is a problem with a lot of garments made in Asian countries.

Holes after 4 months
I bought this jacket in January and was very happy with the fit and style, so much so, I bought another one as a gift. But tonight I noticed there are already 2 holes forming and I haven’t worn it that often. Very disappointing.

Great jacket to dress up or down
I have 2 of the quarter zip style of this top and wanted to try a full zip jacket. Was glad I did. Fit's well, like the dusty purple color,very similar to the quarter zip so like the weight, etc. Was surprised in the 1-2 star reviews of shoppers having trouble with the fabric, construction,etc.Lots of complaints. I have NONE. Would buy another.

Perfect except one thing
The color (rose wash), the softness, the breathability, and the fit are perfection. The only thing I would change is the depth of the hand pockets. My phone/glasses fall out of them all the time. They seem much shallower than those of other full zip sweatshirts I wear, and less functional. Besides that, I love everything else about this sweatshirt!
I bought XS, and I'm 5'2", 115 lbs, for reference.

I ordered on line, so I didn't get to feel the weight of the jacket until it arrived -- it was a heavy cotton-like knit. Also, the arms were far too long for me

Wonderful except for the pilling
I love the fit and look of this quilted sweatshirt and have gotten many compliments on it. My one disappointment is the fabric's pilling under the arms that showed up after only a half dozen or so wearings. Being used to the high quality of LLBean's products, I was surprised.

Perfect for spring and fall: I love the medium thickness and quality of the cotton. The fit is wonderful, not too tight for me (5'4", 130 lbs) size Medium Regular. Absolutely want more and hope other colors go on sale.

Best sweatshirt ever!!

A Must Have for Changing Seasons
This quilted full zip sweatshirt is perfect when the seasons start changing with cooler temperatures both during the day and evening.
