I have bought this sweatshirt in different colors as I have found it works well in air-conditioned restaurants and our cool weather. It fits well and looks a little dressier than the hooded sweatshirt so works well in the restaurant setting.

Classic and Comfortable
I’ve been saving to buy my second color in this style. Love the fit, style is a little more appropriate for my needs; it doesn’t look too juvenile or informal because of the collar, no hoodie. I get many compliments on it for that reason. It’s just the right layer to put on for mornings in the south. Love the pockets for hands or keys.

Quality not as expected
I bought this sweatshirt 4 months ago and after one month it began to fray in the zipper area. I love the fit and style of the sweatshirt. For that reason, when the one I bought last fall began to do the same thing, I purchased another, thinking it was just a fluke. But the new one started doing the same thing, in the same exact area. My daughter had bought one for herself in gray and complained that it did the same thing. When I read that this had happened to other people, I decided to write my review. Again, the garment fits and looks great, but just not for very long!

This is second quilted full zip- it’s the perfect layer for when you want to be comfortable but looks nicer than a hoodie. My only complaint is the fabric wear easily- my first had minor holes near the pockets within a year and many spots where the outer fabric wore through by year 2. I dyed it and still wear it around the house. I was unable to find anything I liked as much so I still bought a second one- but this one I don’t ever leave my keys in the pockets and I don’t wear it hiking.
