Back is unlined
Low quality. The back is very thin unlined fabric and there is a giant seam up the center back which results in terrible fit and inappropriate appearance. This is not the quality I expected from LL Bean. Might be fine if you are swimming laps in a private pool but I would never wear this out in public with my kids. Had to order one size up from usual.

The Blue Water/Leaf print is beautiful, quality fabric.
Fit was off. I am 5'7", #133 with a long torso.
Size 10 torso was not long enough, and the leg opening elastic was not tight enough. Fit like a regular torso suit. Straps cannot be lengthened. Bra cups were too large, and the bust fabric bunched at sides/arm opening too large. Not ordering next size down, because it will be too small in length. Sorry to send it back.
Why are bathing suit manufacturers leaving leg openings so slack these days? About 5 years ago I got one of the Bean square-neck suits in 8 Long, and the sizing/ tightness of leg openings is perfect. I ordered the same suit last year and the leg openings were, like this tanksuit, too large. I feel like clothing manufacturing/quality since the pandemic has really gone sideways.

Exactly what I wanted
Nicely made, and the fabric does indeed dry quickly. I bought a size 10, figuring that it would stretch when wet. However, that doesn't really happen with this fabric and I should have ordered a size 12, being as that I need a bit more in length. The straps stay right where they should and there's plenty of coverage at the leg areas.

Good but could be better
I love this swim suit. Bought one like this 3 years ago, but the shoulder straps stretched out. Too bad the material doesn't last longer.

Not for the beach!
Normally I love LL Bean clothing, however, this swim suit does not match the quality for which I’m accustomed. The suit hoard sand in the crotch making it almost impossible to get it out! For this I give it a one! No more LL Bean swim suits for us. So very disappointed!

Simple attractive swim suit.
Simple, not overpriced swim suit. It’s not too thick that it won’t dry, after you swim. Also, I like the sewn in padding on the bra area. It’s my second one.
