I love the color and the look (I have the orange and blue). I like the top button placement. My problem is the boxy cut. I have a big chest compared to my waist (Mesomorph). The XL fits perfectly in the chest, but the waist fits like a skirt. The Large fits perfectly everywhere, but the chest is tight. It claims to be a Slim Fit, but seems only Slim in the chest. I wish clothing designers would use Body Types to describe the fit. This is perfect for an Ectomorph (i.e. chest size the same as waist size). My other issue is the material being course. It is comfortable while standing, but when I lean back in a chair, the material digs into my skin. I am hoping that goes away with more washing?

Unique weave, unique look
Really great casual shirt. The fabric feels wonderful and the shirt is great in hot weather. The top-most button is low, but it is a summer shirt.

Great fabric. Classic Camp Collar
I love this fabric. It's thicker than I thought by the name "Cool Weave fabric" but it really is cool and comfortable. The top button is really low. It's a classic style but the picture of the model wearing the shirt has the low button deemphasized but it's a low button stance. I actually used the extra, spare button that is sewn inside to put another button up a little higher. But as long as you know this is cut more like the classic pattern like a vintage shirt you'll be happy.
I should add a picture I guess. Ok, I'm back. I took a picture of the stock button stance and then one with my extra button.
I'd buy more shirts with this fabric for sure.

Cool weave, cool shirt
The weave of this shirt is different from all the other shirts I own. It fits me well, and I love the pattern (Celadon). The open cut of the collar reminds me of the past. Can't wait to wear it in DC's hot and humid August weather to see how cool it actually is

One of a kind
I love this shirt and every time I wear it I get compliments. I generally don’t like fitted anything but the way this one is slightly fitted just hangs right. It’s casual but can easily dress up. It’s light, airy and the colors are just perfect. Great job guys. I love it.

A Truly Fine Shirt
It's a shame that this shirt received such poor marks in earlier reviews. I found the quality to be outstanding (although the nicely woven fabric is somewhat heavy for a summer shirt), the cut slim but hardly constricting, and the all-important camp/Cuban collar spreads and lays nicely, just as it should. Over the years I've purchased several pieces from the "Signature" line and have been very impressed with all of them. I hope L.L. Bean keeps the always outstanding "Signature" selections in their lineup. A far better shirt than the two star average (prior to this review) would indicate.

Top Button too low
the top button is way too low, it's almost like there is a button missing. I'm not talking about the neck button. If you normally wear your shirts without buttoning the top one, this shirt is for you.

Way to small for XL. Way to expensive for shirt made from same material Baja hoodies that can be bought for $15 at any boardwalk anywhere.
