These were the best pants I have worn, Imagine my surprise when I discovered you are phasing them out… Absolute Disappointment! I tried the new updated style and found there is simply no comparison whatsoever. Even though I ordered the same size the fit is too tight . PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL PANTS , IF YOU HAVE TO CHARGE MORE, ALOT OF US WILL GLADLY PAY THE DIFFERENCE. LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!!!!

My favorite pants ever! LLbean became #1 for this
I have at least 10 pairs of these, including 2 lined version. It truly is the ideal pant - can be worn for hiking, casual, dress or my favorite travel. Classic design that makes you look sophisticated yet adventuresome; the stretch makes them super comfortable, then you have a side pocked on right leg for thing wallet, and a zip pocket on left leg for passport or other special item. zelcro flap back pockets for other items. It's a shame that LLbean discontinued these for an inferior pant that I will never buy. Hopefully my stock will last me.

Best pants I’ve ever owned. I have four pair with stretch two without and two pairs that are lined. Some of the older ones are beginning to show wear. I’ve been on the lookout for a while and sad to hear that they may have been discontinued. Please bring them back.

Bring back the old design! The new ones SUCK!
Sometimes paying folks lots of money to "improve" upon things just doesn't pan out. Like "New Coke" or "Crystal Pepsi" - remember that marketing geniousness? The new design may be fine for another line but I returned those i bought because of the change from the 6-7 pairs of the original that I had pruchased over the past few years. Stop snatching defeat out of the jaws of success!
FWIW- if you do bring it back, i'd be ok if you left the velcro off one or more of the back pockets. Thanks

New cut too small, doesn't fit well
I lost a lot of weight (yay for me) and ordered new Riverton pants to replace the larger ones I could no longer wear. I am certain of my new waist size, having purchased shorts, etc., and so I ordered two pair in that size. They were entirely too small. I returned them. This happened three times, with me bumping up the waist size each time. The third pair fit my waist properly, but due to the new style/cut, the pants were stretched too tightly over my hips. especially in the front. Those pants were one numerical size smaller than my original Rivertons! They were tight enough to be unwearable, so I returned them. These were great pants before being redesigned. The new pocket configuration is terrible, by the way.
