Comfort meets texture in our new favorite layer. We chose a weight that's exceptionally versatile, so you can wear it anytime of year. Rugged cotton/polyester fabric is brushed inside for noticeable softness and a cozy feel.

Elbow Areas Wear Out Easily
Looks sharp, unfortunately the integrity of the elbow area has worn out twice now even with a replacement. Not what you should expect for a piece of clothing this expensive.

Very soft and a great hue of purple.
Great purple color and so soft. My husband has a long body w shorter legs. He’s 6’0’. He thinks it’s comfy and soft and loves the pockets which he found work day while at work. I bought him a 2XL and he is 245 lbs. it’s a little long on him but he loves it. He wears itfor a casual day at the office.

Awesome shirt for all the men in your life!
I ordered this for my 75 year-old Dad and my 45 year-old husband for Christmas. They’re both over 6’ tall with broad shoulders. They both absolutely love it. It can be dressed up with a collared shirt or be more casual with a t-shirt. Great quality and washes up well.

They Don't Last
I've bought 5 of these over a two year period. I think they are very comfortable and I like the look. My issue with them is that they don't last very long. Granted, I wore them a fair amount in the California winter, but I would have expected that they wouldn't start fraying after a year of use. The fraying starts at the lower arm seams. The top layer of cloth rubs away and exposes the interior insulation. This then begins to happen on the seams around the neck opening. Obviously, the fact that I bought three, followed by another two the next year, means I liked them quite a bit but that was before all of the holes started appearing.

Great gift
My husband loves this gift! It’s an elevated sweatshirt, so he likes to wear it out on cold nights. Sometimes he wears it to work on casual days. He comfortably wears his usually size over a t shirt. It’s more tailored, but not athletic cut.

I saw these online. I wasn’t really sure if this would be. It looked like it wouldn’t be a good idea. But I happen to be into a store which are not near my house. Quality is not up to Bean standards
I don't believe the quality of this product is up to the standard of other LL Bean products. On one of my sleeves there is a significant tear. I work an office job and simply wear this over a dress shirt for warmth. It is warm, but it already has a tear and it shouldn't. It is not like I am working outdoors or wearing on a hike. I also reached out to Bean about the tear and they made it pretty crystal clear that it was not their problem.

Upscale Cozy
This sweatshirt gives a little upscale refinement to weekend comfy cozy. I purchased 2 in different sizes/colors. The first fit a little smaller than preferred (Tall L - 6'5" 220#) after washing and air drying. The second (Tall XL) is a little roomier than preferred because it didn't seem to shrink. Nevertheless, they are both enjoyed and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.
