Not as good as earlier Lakewashed
I’ve always liked the Lakewashed khakis—but these new ones, the fabric doesn’t have as nice a hand as the earlier models—is it the Spandex? What’s wrong with the old 100% cotton?! Further, these shrank an inch after the first wash!! Not good. Otherwise, the fit is good and also the workmanship. But I’m not a happy camper…

Comfortable, mid-weight chinos
A very comfortable pair of chinos that fits well, not too tight, not too loose. There's a slight amount of stretch to the fabric, but I mostly do not notice it. The fabric is medium weight, or maybe a hair lighter than that, good for all seasons.
My one very minor complaint is the design of the right front pocket, which has a small pocket-within-a-pocket, designed, I imagine, for coins or keys. I keep my phone in that pocket, and sometimes I slide the phone into that inside pocket by mistake (where it doesn't fit). But honestly it's no big deal.
I have two pairs of these khakis and plan to order more in other colors in the future.

Not my Classic Fit
Says "they fit at the waist" The rise in these trousers is 2" shorter than my other trousers that DO fit at the waist. I'm sending them back.

Casual trousers that are easy to live with
This is my third pair of laekwashed trousers. I wore the first pair out because they were my daily choice during COVID—I was teaching from home via webcam, and they were perfect for the standing and sitting I had to do because of their softness and stretchiness. They do not require ironing. The other two pairs I have purchased to add some different colors of khaki. This particular color is darker more like older school khaki trousers, with the same softness and overall comfort. They wash nicely if you don’t mind some wrinkles, which is a feature, not a bug, of these. The pockets do bunch up after washing but smooth out easily.
