Wind proof
Great light weight jacket. Wore in on a walk on a very windy day. Very effective blocking the wind. Didn’t give 5 stars because sleeves are too long. Being that I’m female, probably be great for a man.

Very functional fleece
It’s hard to find a fleece that’s fully wind proof. This jacket is very useful because of this essential feature. The checkered look however, is pretty ugly. Therefore, it’s more of a functional piece of clothing for me. Too bad LL Bean doesn’t offer a solid version. I subtracted one star for aesthetics, however, this may not be an issue for you.

Slimmer fit than desired.
The fit was on the slim side, so there was little room for layering underneath. Also, the sleeves were slightly short and I would have preferred a banded cuff or some other cuff closure.

sleeves too long
Sleeves were way too long. Also, quality not as expected, the textured fabric did not make it feel more robust and did not make it look upscale.

Very Nice Cool Weather Fleece
very nice fleece. But lacks a lining in the sleeves to allow easier on/off. Right now, it tends to catch on your sleeve material provided you are wearing a long sleeve shirt. Would help make the on/off a lot easier as it currently drags on this area.
Other than that I like this fleece lot.

Comfortable and versatile
This is my second jacket as I lost the first one overboard. It's just right for cool days on my boat or kayak in Florida when the wind makes it too cold, but not too warm once the wind stops. With a fleece/sweater and a light rain jacket, it works well for layering when traveling to cold areas. Very versatile and comfortable

Not a fan Waffle
I bought this a while ago, I love the windproof but don't like the waffle pattern. I have a very old windproof jacket, it doesn't have any patterners and love it.
