I usually take a size large for outerwear to give myself a little extra room. This raincoat ran very small for a size large and it was very lightweight, I was disappointed and returned it, my opinion it's not worth $179

Great Fit! Pit zips are too low!
I really like the fit and color. I haven't put its rain repellency to the test yet. The pit zips are too low. They can almost be mistaken for another set of pockets! Why so low LLBean?
I purchased a petite medium. I am 5'2" and weigh 130-135. This size fits really well, and there's room for a fleece or vest underneath. Velcro is only used for wrist adjustments. I like that! I do not like the use of lots of velcro on clothing.

Nice jacket!
I really like this rain jacket - it’s comfortable and attractive and fits well. The only negative is that it doesn’t have a two-way zipper which I would expect at the price of the jacket.

Great Rain Jacket
This rain jacket hits all the right buttons, great fit, features, fabric feel, and great colors! It has performed so well over the last month keeping me warm and dry. (February/March in Colorado). It still hasn’t been tested in a heavy downpour yet. So far it has been my go to jacket and I really love it !

Anyone else's jacket not waterproof?
I love the fit of my new Women's Cresta Stretch Rain Jacket. Unfortunately, the jacket does not seem to repel water. I got completely soaked in a very short walk. Is anyone else having a similar problem? Are there other petite rain jackets that are more waterproof?

Great jacket! Plus size women, order up a size.
I love this light and practical rain jacket! It is perfect for days when I don’t want to wear my long raincoat, which for me will be the days where light, occasional rain is expected.
As an elementary teacher in Northern California that has to walk my class around campus several times a day, this jacket does the job, is comfortable, and looks cute.
Plus size ladies, I suggest you order up a size, unless you want the jacket to be fairly fitted. I ordered both a 2X and a 3X, since my normal size is a 2X but I’d read another plus size woman suggest ordering one size larger than usual. Although the 2X fit, the 3X had the room I wanted for layering under it. Even though I’m somewhat pear shaped with much narrower shoulders than hips, it looks good on me. I returned the 2X and kept the 3X.

Nice jacket, not a great "rain" coat
First the cons: It's not a proper rain coat. It does not repel water. A few weeks ago, I walked my dog in this coat in a decent rain, and that was the first time I noticed how wet I was when I took it off. After that I started noticing I was a little wet every time I wore it in even a drizzle. Today, I took my dog for a hike. It wasn't raining hard, but it was a cold, freezing rain, so once the sweatshirt I was wearing underneath got wet, I was cold.
For the Pros: it's a nice coat, fits well, and it's durable. I wear it hiking often, and it holds up to whatever I might encounter: bramble patches, climbing awkwardly over a downed tree, falling, whatever.
That said, for this price, it's absurd that it can't do the one thing it's supposed to: keep me dry.

Nice jacket but wish logo was more subtle
Nice jacket but wish logo was more subtle. The jacket has LLBEAN printed on the top left side and also on the back near the hood. I know LLBEAN wants people to know it is their jacket, but it would look better to not have such prominent logos on the front and back. I bought the jacket because of the good quality and waterproof aspect of it.

So far so good
After reviewing and looking at many jackets, I settled on the Cresta jacket. I wanted a waterproof, breathable, windproof jacket. I haven't tested it fully yet, but I'm impressed so far. The biggest thing is that it fits! I am busty and have a very difficult time getting things to fit. I normally wear a size M but ordered a L because I want the jacket for travel and I want to be able to wear a layer under it. It's perfect. The sleeves are a little long but the velcro on the sleeves solves that issue and the overall length of the jacket is great. I'm 5'4 and 155 lbs and it covers my backside which is a plus.
The only improvements I can suggest would be a two way zipper as well as inner pockets. There is an inner chest pocket but I can't imagine using it because of its location.

Wonderful Jacket
A few years ago I got the light blue color, for spring and summer. I bought the sea green color for fall and winter this time. The jacket works great over winter sweaters. And the hood doesn't fall in my face. A very nice jacket. I'm glad I bought both colors.

Great Jacket Highly Recommend
I just love this jacket. I did purchase one jacket before leaving on my vacation to the UK and to France this Fall. I was so pleased with it that I purchased another one in Green. My initial purchase was in light blue. This jacket is so comfortable and packs beautifully. Great color selection!!

Soft, quiet fabric, love the color. Only 4 stars tgiugh, even with pit zips open, moisture builds up in coat just from moderate body heat, which is odd. Id prefer a 2 way zipper, makes a coat more functional. Coat fits well, very comfortable.

This was a replacement after a loss, so yes, I like them. The stretch is esp. nice as I am walking and running dogs in the rain and snow. It is a shell, and the inside feels cold to the touch, so I wear long sleeves if it is chilly. I am not sure it is completely rain proof when it rains hard, but it is the best that I have found that breathes. I love the zip pits. Only wish the front zipper was both ways and that it came in a yellow or orange to be more easily seen,

A good rain jacket
This is a nice light weight and packable rain jacket. I found that I wanted to size up to allow room for a sweater or light jacket. I do wish the jacket were a bit longer. The hood is roomy and comfortable, adequate pockets. And it kept me dry in heavy rain!

Great rain jacket!
Bought this coat for a hiking trip in Italy. Had a couple of rainy days, and this coat kept me dry and comfy the whole time! Has pit zips if you get hot, but it truly is a breathable fabric, so that didn’t really happen. Has big pockets that were super handy and kept stuff dry. Fabric moves well, coat was comfy even when climbing. Worth the money!!

The perfect raincoat!
The Cresta Stretch Raincoat is waterproof and breathable. The fabric is soft and comfortable to wear all day. I brought this coat on a trip to Ireland, and it kept me nice and dry, and was also great for blocking the wind.
